Beach house holiday rentals in Sorrento

We had the most amazing time on our honeymoon staying here! Carlo met us promptly upon arrival, walked us to the house and gave us tips for getting around Positano. The terrace was amazing and offered spectacular views. This side of Positano was less crowded and we were happy to not be in the craziness of the main beach and port. It was a quick walk to literally everything. We hope to come back, and highly recommend!

Loved our stay here! In a great location. There weren’t many stairs to get to the Airbnb or to get to restaurants and the beach. The pictures they have don’t do this place justice. Way more beautiful in person. The host was great. They let us check in early and let us keep our bags at the Airbnb late while we explored. Would book again!!!

We loved our stay in Anna & Giuseppe’s. The view is stunning!! The apartment had everything we needed and more. Giuseppe met us to check in and was so lovely and helpful. Luisa was extremely responsive over text. The stairs up and down to Amalfi are no joke- definitely need to be fit and healthy to take them on- but convenient all the same. We took the bus a lot which is only 10 mins from Pogerola village. It was lovely to feel like we had an authentic Italian experience away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. The local cats were super cute and friendly- we brought some food down to them at night where they live (not at the apartment) as they seemed hungry and as a cat lover I couldn’t resist. Definitely recommend Anna & Giuseppe’s overall.

We had a wonderful stay at Giuseppina’s place! Her, her son Alessandro, and her husband Francesco were all incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay. They assisted us in booking luggage porters and even shared a 10% discount at their local boutique, Rino (highly recommended if you’re looking for handmade clothing). The walk to and from the home is quite challenging. It’s a steep incline, even for very athletic individuals. While we managed to make it, it was quite exhausting at times. Nevertheless, these aspects of the stay were all part of the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this listing!

This was without a doubt the most beautiful place I have ever been. I did not believe the place would be as amazing as the photos and it was even better! The location was in a super convenient location for the port. It was also very easy to walk to the port to catch a taxi and go to other areas on the island. The host was very responsive and communicated well. We will certainly be back!

Roberto was an amazing host. We got a puncture in our tyre and he helped us out with getting to and from local tyre place etc. Above and beyond just an air bnb host! Thank you so so much. Couldn’t have been more efficient. Also highly recommend visiting his restaurant very tasty. Lovely views - however the stairs up to the apartment You want small bags - it’s a long way. Apartment comfortable and clean.

This place is very large. It’s on 5 floors. The bedrooms are comfortable and the second bedroom would be so much fun for kids. Lots of stairs in the place. It’s in a quiet town so you get a better more local feel for the area. The view from the church was impressive. Great stay

What a beautiful place to stay.. The view is just amazing..Raffaele was the perfect host, went out of his way to pick us up and drop us back at the station. The apartment was spacious and everything that you needed for a stay. We were helped out also by Raffaele with some places to eat and places to get groceries.. a 10 minute walk down to the beach , which is great for a days sunbathing.. also only about 12/15 minutes walk to the small ferry port. Perfect for Positano, Amalfi. Cetara and minori. Would recommend this place to all of our friends it was the perfect place to finish off our trip to Italy.

Maria's condo in Positano is exactly as described and pictured. Our group of 4 spent two nights and all said how much we would love to live there indefinitely. It's quite the hike down and back from the beach (but pretty much every Airbnb or hotel accommodation is). The only reason for 4 stars is that Maria was still cleaning the unit when we arrived at 3pm check in until 430-- for which she was incredibly apologetic. We were grateful the property is so well taken care of. Definitely don't forget to bring a swim cap down to the pool with you-- they won't let you get in the water without one! (Even if you have your hair up and don't plan to go under).

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Wonderful! We had the entire place to ourselves, the views are amazing! Loved and would definitely stay there again.

Vivinanna's place was perfect, Carla was gone beyond perfect. Meta is like home to me anyway but Carla made it feel even more like home. We met the man owner also one day outside and he was extremely polite. Can't speak highly enough of Vivinanna's place and Meta. Forget staying in Sorrento, Meta is a hidden gem to all tourists and hopefully always will be. Sorry if im giving the secret away lol!!! Grazie per tutti Carla e Vivianna. This place was perfection! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and a tour of this incredible place. The pool and outdoor spaces plus the balcony with its incredible views were a huge hit! The family and their dog are so lovely and we couldn't say a single bad word about our stay here. Great location, big and spacious rooms, plenty of outdoor space and the pool was so good! If you are staying in or around Praiano then I wouldn't look anywhere else. It is even more stunning in real life. We can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for a post card view of Positano and the coastline, this is the place to stay. The property was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Air conditioning worked fine for us. Domenico was kind enough to help meet us and assist with our luggage. He even reserved a taxi for our Capri tour and recommend the La Strada restaurant. The food, service and close proximity were all great. One note to keep in mind is the number of steps to get to the property. It can be a bit of challenge for some. Otherwise, we had a memorable stay.

This home was in an excellent location, walkable to everything in Sorrento, provided lots of space for our family of seven, and had all the amenities needed. The outdoor space was lovely and we spent many evenings outside enjoying the backyard. The hosts were responsive, gave great recommendations, and addressed any issues quickly. Highly recommend if visiting Sorrento.

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

This location is incredible and comes with a free shuttle. The drivers are very welcoming and kind and so is Lucio. They go out of their way to be accommodating. The room was clean and spacious with a stunning view on the roof deck. Also tons of lemon trees that we made lemonade with! Amazing experience, location, and lovely host. Would love to go back and highly recommend!

Great spot near Sorrento! Clean, spacious, loved the views. A few restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop we enjoyed in the mornings. The only downside is you have to take a taxi to get to your car every time you want to use it. Also the beach gets super busy during the daytime in summer, which is fun if you want to join in! And evenings and mornings are so peaceful and relaxing. Great stay.

We loved Alfonso’s place! It was a truly beautiful property with the best terrace, we loved sitting out there and watching the sunset. The beds were very comfortable, everything was well stocked, and it was very spacious. The shower was wonderful and the view was amazing. A few stairs, but that is to be expected, and tricky water pressure in the toilet, but not a big deal. Alfonso was very kind to us and gave us great recommendations and tips as well as helping us get a boat cruise booked and answering our questions about the bus. Bus stop very close to airbnb makes it easy to get around the coast. We loved it and I would recommend this place to absolutely everybody, would love to be back!

The place was stunning once you’re there. The room and kitchen was perfect and the terrace was completely unbeatable for the views. The bus situation is very difficult and would not recommend this place to anyone who has mobility difficulties but if you’re fit and healthy it’s worth the stairs and stress of the busses.

The place was absolutely gorgeous. Salvatore was extremely nice and responsive. Always willing to help us. They allowed us to check in a bit early since we arrived early. The only thing is we found everything being a bit far from the center with the house being way up in the mountains. You can either walk a hike up or down a trail of stairs or catch a bus to the center which goes out every two hrs and the last one runs at 7pm back to the house. The views were lovely from the house though. Due to that Salvatore was very nice in offering us a ride back home when we stayed out past 7 a couple of times.

Nello’s apartment is absolutely beautiful, well presented & spotlessly clean. He has thought of everything you might need, including bottled water, fresh fruit & Prosecco! The location, so close to Corsa Italia, yet peaceful & quiet, is perfect for getting out and about. Nello himself is so welcoming & friendly, offering hugely helpful advice & information on days out, as well as providing excellent restaurant recommendations. His thoughtful gifts, both during our stay and as we left, were a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special. He goes above and beyond expectations.

The unit offers breathtaking panoramic views. Simona & Alessio are great! We drove in from Rome and they saved a car space for us and helped us with our luggage. They are great communicators. Provided all the extras to make the stay comfortable. They provided Champaign on check in, vegetable's at our door and a cute bottle of lemon cello upon our last day. BE AWARE: In the description it says 200 steps. If you are from the US and other areas its better described as stairs, not steps. The stairs are 200 to the bus stop and another 50 to the two restaurants. And then a steep 200 or 250 back up to the unit. I would say on a given day we did between 1000 and 1500 stairs to and from the unit. I only put this in because there is a difference in steps and stairs and if you have knee or physical issues this may not be the unit for you.

Our stay in Massa Lubrense at Irinia's was superb. We stayed for 8 nights having driven down from the UK over a number of days. Specific requirements included, secure parking, a second was ability to do some washing (tiny boot in an MX5). Those two boxes were easily ticked off and many more. The home was absolutely spotlessly clean with many small touches making it very homely. Every item you could need was provided. A sea view and the quiet position added that extra element of perfection. After a days sight seeing returning to a quiet haven each day, listening to the local church bells was magical. A great base for exploring, basically slap bang between Naples and Amalfi. A day trip to Capri was also easy, arranged by Irinia from the local harbour. The icing on the cake was Irinia's constant concern that our stay was perfect. Several great local restaurants, Da Michelle was our favourite, 10 minute walk, a bit longer back up!
