we had a great trip in kirknes , this spot is only 10 mins drive from city center , the apartment is very big and cozy with quiet surrounding , most of all to communicate with alexadra was super efficient , and helpful ! i will recommend this apartment for all who would love to stay in kirkenes . also there is a small hill 5 mins walk from home to hike for northern light hunting and i bet in winter is the perfect place to ski . 5 stars experience

Second year in a row as a guest of Ragnar and Inge. We did expect quality accommodation and we were not disappointed. Well-equipped house, location great for salmon fishing. Friendly host.

We have stayed at Kjerti‘s home over Christmas with our family and it was wonderful. A great big house with a wonderful view cosy and warm. And so is Kjersti as a host:) The location of the house is just perfect in walking distance to everything, also to the great nature. And on top the house has a wonderful sauna. We would love to come back one time.

We had a wonderful stay at this very charming house! The space was immaculate and well taken care of. The location is peaceful enough to enjoy Norway's natural beauty, just a short journey to reach main attractions for anywhere you'd want to go in Kirkenes. One helpful tip for future guests, if there might be ice makes sure you have good footwear! And definitely take the very short trip uphill to the mountain lake any time of the year, the view is spectacular!

We needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights before the Havila southbound ferry, but also wanted to see some of the area. Harold’s place was perfect. We arrived lunchtime (by bus from the airport) and walked to the local shop to buy a few groceries. Also found a place to get a coffee by the garage. Then discovered a 5k walking (and cycling) route to Kirkenes- lovely walk - and got the bus back. Used the buses to get around after that - to include getting to the ferry port (n10) - there’s an app you can download to get tickets in advance. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. Harold was also very responsive to questions we had - great stay - thank you!

Our flight was canceled and we had to rebook but I forgot to tell Kamilla we would be arriving hours earlier than originally expected. Kamilla handled it really well and managed to make the stay perfect for us. For instance, she answered my multiple late-night questions about how to turn on the sauna; somehow I just couldn’t understand the directions. And I am so glad she did - the sauna in her bathroom is a great plus. There is also a large beautiful back yard that isn’t pictured in the listing. Kamilla’s condo was a great place to relax after our long journey from Canada on the way to get on a cruise ship.

Those who expect a sun-drenched apartment in the center of Kirkenes are wrong here. If you are looking for a well-equipped, quiet in-law apartment in a suburb, this is the place to be. The apartment is located at ground level below the terrace, has a window. But offers more than one usual studio. The kitchen with dining table is separated from the living-bedroom. A hallway leads to the shower and toilet separated from it. The kitchen is good equipped, the dishes from a well-known Swedish furniture provider. And for lovers of filter coffee: there is a coffee maker. Also WiFi works flawlessly, I was able to stream football via VPN. The apartment is picobello clean. Pål-Arne and his wife Duen are a great team. I was very lucky to be able to experience your extraordinary hospitality on my road trip.

Tove made our stay very uncomplicated despite our late arrival in Kirkenes. Communicating was easy and we felt very comfortable in the apartment. The perfect start to our holiday! Thank you :)
