You have a private sauna and barbecue area on the plot. Hede, the resort where the cottage is located in, has most of the amenities; supermarket, pharmacy, medical center, etc.

Sports cottage at Vemdalsskalet

Modern sports cottage with 6 beds of about 80 sqm with high cosy factor! Built 2014. Nice and quiet location overlooking the valley and ski area. Near the centre of the shell (1.5 km walk). Close to hiking trails and cross-country trails. In winter you can get to and from the ski system via the marked ski trail. For those interested in fishing, it is close to lakes and watercourses. The cabin key is in the door at Your arrival, bed linen/towel can be rented, then ready yourself with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker in the kitchen. Close to Sonfjällets National Park about 15 km, Vemdalen 8 km, Vemdalsskalet 15 km, Björnriket 15 km. Own boat at the cottage as well as in a lake in the mountains with good fishing. Access to fish smoke. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed. Kitchen/living room with fireplace, wood is included. WC/shower/sauna. The cabin is cleaned after stay. No pets or smoking allowed in cottage.

Promenadavstånd in till Skalets torg med bageri, affär & restauranger. Slalombackarna når ni på några minuter med bil. Här bor ni bekvämt upp till 8 personer. Koppla av och njut i Spabadet & bastun efter en dag på fjället. Tänd upp en eld i braskaminen och laga en god middag i det välutrustade köket. Altan i söderläge med webergrill & sittmöbler.

Scenic and idyllic location in the forest clearing where you can hear Ljusnan drift further away. 5 Minutes walk to one of Swedens best trout fishing, a little further away, Rånden runs one of Swedens best grayling waters. To the ski resorts Vemdalen, Björnrike and Lofsdalen, it takes just over 30 minutes by car to go. The area is also popular for snowmobiling. Here you live close to nature with access to a wide range of outdoor activities all year round.

Outdoor, adventure, wellness in Sweden

This house is fun for the whole family. A spacious house in the Swedish style. Kitchen and bathroom were renovated in 2023. The sauna can of course also be used. Snowmobiles, ATV and boat can be rented separately. A campfire and grill are available. The large property offers plenty of space for discovery tours in the forest or the paths. For us, it is a wonderful place to find both peace and adventure. Of course, it is possible to see the Northern Lights!

Here you stay in a slightly smaller cabin with proximity to slalom slopes and cross-country ski tracks and with nature around the corner, it attracts many activities even in summer.
