Our stay at Reel Relaxation was nothing short of wonderful. Our family of 5 had such a relaxing and enjoyable spring break there and the home exceeded our expectations. Not only was the home location beautiful because it was right on the water but Holly had kayaks for us to use, crab traps (which my kids were enthralled with), bikes, a fire pit (that was already filled with wood and read to go!), a hot tub, and lots of board games in the house. The home itself was spotless and had all of the amenities (and more!) that you would want/need. The only drawback is it is a solid 30-40 minutes to get to any type of food store, restaurant, etc. but that is just a result of the location itself. We would go back in a heartbeat though because it was the perfect remote get-away and the view/access to the water right off the dock was amazing. Highly recommend!

Kingsbay Waterside Retreat House

We stayed at this terrific property for our annual family vacation. The vote is in, everyone had a great time! Our hosts David and Jerry were very responsive and helpful and check in was easy. David was there to greet us and give us a quick tour and helpful tips on local activities. The pool was fantastic. It was warm and the perfect spot to hang out during the day. The dock was a great place to walk out to in the morning, watch the lovely sunsets at night, do a little fishing and a great way to launch the stand up paddly boards we brought. The house is great, was clean with plenty of room for a group of 10 (7 adults and 3 teenagers). In the evening we could hang out in the game room and play cards or could hang out and watch TV in the TV room. Both ground floor rooms open to the pool. We also appreciated all the little extras like plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, cleaning supplies, water and more. The whole gang highly recommends this property. Thanks we will be back

157-Acre Waterfront Retreat

This place is truly Amazing! This property offers a very unique experience with historical lineage dating back to 1958. We loved how each bedroom is themed with different types of Ducks. I have never stayed in a house with so many features, from fishing, crabbing, kayaking, all the unique antiques and just relaxing. The kids loved all the board games. It was great that we could bring our dog. She loved swimming in the bay. We cooked outside and had dinner on the porch and watched one of the most amazing sunsets over the water that I have ever seen. We had our morning coffee on the balcony off the Pintail room and there was a pair of Eagles perched on the tree. We had a great 5 day stay, we hated to leave! Cindy the housekeeper met us at the house when we arrived, she showed us around to all the bedrooms and the cupola, which is a room on the third floor that has 360 degrees views of the Chesapeake Bay. It’s a great place for groups to gather and create lifelong memories.

This house was AMAZING. It was perfect for what we wanted to do for Memorial Day weekend- RELAX! It was exactly what we were looking for! We hung out on the amazing deck, played games, enjoyed the view and watched the birds. It was so peaceful. We were so thrilled to see the Eagles nest. The kitchen was so nice and adequately stocked. The living room furniture was perfect to take in the views. The beds were so comfortable, which we rarely can say when we rent homes. The bathrooms were great, although one shower is so tiny it felt like you were showering in a telephone booth. LOL. The elevator was so handy to bring everything upstairs. The only downside I could see was it is so far out, if you planned to do things outside of the property it's not very convenient. It's the type of place that you bring everything you need and stay put. It would be perfect for a few couples to share or a family to gather for a holiday.

Wonderful, clean and charming historic house and great location! Was the perfect place to stay with a group of friends for a long weekend. House is even better than it looks in the pictures and the view is fantastic. The host was super accommodating and we loved having access to their grill, bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards.

Lovely place exactly as described! The room and bathroom were incredibly clean and cozy. Hamroz and her husband were very kind and hospitable to me. I wish I had more time to spend with them!
