Beach house holiday rentals in Sogod

We, 2 families, 4 adults and 3 boys, spent 8 days within this spacious villas. Though the location is not close to downtown Cebu and no WiFi there, we had a great and fun experience, relaxing, fantastic sea view, nice swimming pool and etc. Margie and Vivian are very helpful and warm hearted. This is a good place for holidays, and I have recommended it to some of my friends.

Very friendly, helpful and accomodating host. Little bit hard to to find from the street, but the friendly locals helped me find the place. Its an upstairs rooms with common kitchen area, and common CR, private bedroom. Very comfortable bed, even I chose a single bed. Very clean and well organized. Very good and reliable internet for business matters. Breakfast is offered if you order the night before, very reasonable. Welma is a great host, this is a great value for the money, highly recommended.

The place was even better than the pictures. The presence of the lovely dogs adds to the overall experience. Ma’am Janette and her husband were kind and even gave us some food. The experience feels like a retreat for us. The sound of the waves and birds. Beautiful in daytime and nighttime.

Our family spent a blissful three days at Eking's beautiful villa. We wanted a place where we could completely relax and unwind, and this suited our purposes perfectly. The villa itself is lovely and comfortable, with lots of windows to take advantage of the stunning ocean views. The property, right on the ocean with private ocean access, is lovely. Our three sons (21, 19 and 17) enjoyed the pool, billiards, kayaks and paddleboard, and we took advantage of the opportunity to have the staff cook some meals for us. The rate was quite reasonable and May's cooking was great! A few notes: the villa is pretty far removed from towns of any size, so it's probably not the best place to stay if you are looking for a central location. It's ideal as a getaway, a place to unplug, unwind, and just enjoy the beauty of the ocean. Also, the second bedroom is on the lower level near the pool with its own entrance, which was perfect for our older sons but might be a problem if your children are small. The property does not have a sandy beach, so if you're looking for a typical beach experience you might be disappointed, but we enjoyed just lounging in/around the pool, enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. Eking was wonderful to work with, very easy to communicate with and very helpful with our questions. The staff on the property was wonderful. They really do a wonderful job of keeping the place tidy and they helped us with everything we needed. We were all sad to leave and would go back any chance we got!

Mark (host) and RJ (house manager) and the entire team staff made us feel welcome at home. The house is perfect for a nice and relaxing stay with delicious food all professionally prepared in the thatched roof kitchen and dining area with great views of the ocean. The pool is a great focal point with lots of seating surrounding it. The kids enjoyed beach combing during low tide. The nearby hot springs and hike to a waterfall is a nice 1/2 day excursion as well.

Loved every minute of the stay & should have stayed longer as 2 nights were simply not enough. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a break from the hustle & bustle & loves the sea

The place was lovely, the view was relaxing seeing the pool area and glass house from the living room. Although we encountered a little hiccup regarding the malfunctioning microwave, which our host let me know on the day of the check in. I would have appreciated it if I was told beforehand because we brought microwave popcorn. Although, the caretaker Ms. Neria was clear with her instructions and tour of the Airbnb. She even offered to let us borrow her rice cooker as the previous guests misused the old rice cooker and left it discolored. The glass house was cozy, and offered a really nice view of the sea and sunrise. My family members however complained regarding the water pressure in their bathrooms. Hope this can be fixed as well. Other than that, we loved the karaoke and the pool! We are also able to use the grill for barbecue and the ref and freezer were functional, which was fortunate since my family brought a lot of food. Great place to stay, and it's my second time there. The place does not disappoint! Kitchen is fully ready, with clean drinking water and many spacious rooms with beds. Just be cautions of mosquitoes and bring the right anti-insect repellant lotions. Otherwise, we had a great stay and will definitely be back again!

Had a great stay here with the family. There is food available for purchase via the café, or you can bring your own. Plenty rooms and space for everyone. Nice pool and area outside to grill.

Daisy was an excellent host, always responsive and friendly. We felt right at home. The condo was clean, spacious, and just as described. The neighborhood was peaceful and secure. This is an excellent choice for a comfortable stay outside the main city.
