Holiday rentals in Sœurdres

A fantastic family chateau that accommodated 3 families comfortably, and even nicer in real life than in the photos. Large well kept grounds and loads of space to explore. There is plenty to do in the local area. Basic amenities within a few minutes' drive including a great riverside bistro in Daon, the nearby large town of Chateau-Gontier is 15 mins away while Angers is around 40 mins away for everything a city provides. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant time at Aurélien's place. The accommodation is quiet and green, ideal for any duration, it is fully equipped. If we come back to the area we will come back without hesitation.

The property is fabulous, in location, presentation, furnishings, facilities and contents. It is ideal for families with children, there are so many toys and play areas. The kitchen is brilliantly furnished with all the equipment a chef would enjoy, complete with serving dishes. A dining table that seats ten comfortably. There is additional fridge/ freezer space in the boiler room. Each bedroom is beautifully presented with wonderfully comfortable beds. The bathrooms are supplied with great water pressure with seemingly endless hot water. Our group of eight adults and two children certainly didn't run out of hot water. The free internet access runs at great speed. Overall it is literally a home from home.

Wow, what a place. If you are looking for a place that provides tranquillity and relaxation, then this is your place. The house was set in a beautiful location, with a couple of nice restaurants down the road (one being by the river). We went there daily. There was a lovely little local shop in the bakery section with excellent products. Although the house is in the countryside, you are only 15 minutes away from the local town and markets. The house was tastefully decorated and clean and had excellent facilities—it had everything we needed. Our 10 and 11-year-olds absolutely loved roaming around the beautiful garden and playing in the pool. In the evening, we enjoyed dinners in the nice outdoor setting, watching the sun go down on the beautiful countryside view. I would recommend this place without any hesitation to family and friends. The host, Paul Edouard, was attentive and thoughtful. He responded promptly to my questions. Thank you!

We had a pleasant stay with the family (couple with a baby) at Manuella's house. At the bottom of the maisonette, there is a small path along the Sarthe which is very pleasant to walk around.

What a find! A stunning residence in the most beautiful area, with a delightful host close by if needed. So much to see and do. An area we didn’t know terribly well, which has now become a firm favourite; Not at all touristy, lovely friendly locals, great places to eat, lots of Chateaux to visit, and natural water sports close by, vineyards and caves for tastings, the area is also an equestrians dream with Le Lion d’Angers and Saumur within easy driving distance. Will definitely be back, we’ve only scratched the surface this week! Thank you Chantal

I was delighted to stay with Nicolas and Valerie! What happiness! The cottage is extremely well equipped (kitchen, very fast wifi, TV) and very comfortable (bed and sofa). You won't want for anything. Nicolas and Valerie are very available and make sure you have everything you need for a great stay. They are welcoming and very professional. In addition, the environment is lovely. Many walks are offered. Valérie and Nicolas provide you with all the documentation you need to discover the surroundings (hikes, restaurants, map of short circuits, etc.). It is certainly a cottage of excellent quality!!!I recommend it 100% without a second thought. Small plus for the yard, a beautiful and large space to relax. THANK YOU.
