Absolutely blown away by our stay, everything was perfection. Our host Nancy’s communication was great, and the detailed, helpful information provided before and during our stay made everything so seamless. The main house tour was such a delight, setting the tone for the incredible experience. As for the location, it's truly heaven on earth. I honestly believe I will never stay anywhere prettier! The house itself is styled to absolute perfection, with insane attention to detail in every corner. But without a doubt, it was that breathtaking main view and the stunning, color-coded bookcase that truly stole the show and captured my heart. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable and beautiful escape! We can't wait to return some day!

Hidden gem if you’re looking to relax and kick back. Unbelievably thoughtful little touches from a card, to a gift hamper featuring wonderful handmade &local produce made for an amazing welcome. The photos probably don’t do the place justice either, it’s bigger than it looks and even nicer in person. Couldn’t recommend more for a little escape. Loved it.

We loved Li and Richard’s cosy home. We felt like we were tucked away at the end of the world, surrounded by beautiful views. We particularly loved the fireplace, the gorgeous linen bedding, and the outdoor shower facing the forest (what a luxury!). They have a great selection of books and board games, and a beautiful big dining table for shared meals. If you like to cook, you may want to bring a few extras (eg oven mitts, a mortar and pestle or mini blender, a garlic press etc). Otherwise, the kitchen is fairly well stocked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, with extra blankets for warmth. There’s a beautiful little beach a short stroll from the house. If you like feeling tucked away with a beautiful view and the sounds of birds and ocean, this is the spot. Thanks for having us Li and Richard.

A stunning place with a beautiful view, lovely deck and very peaceful. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The provisions were well above expectations. All beautiful quality and delicious. Warm and spacious, beautiful amenities, lovely bathroom and shower. Judy was a wonderful host. Would highly recommend this delightful home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A peaceful gem between city and nature Tinderbox Cottage was the perfect winter escape. Tucked away in a serene, leafy setting, it felt like our own private hideaway—yet it was ideally located for exploring both Hobart and the breathtaking wilderness of Bruny Island. The cottage itself was beautifully appointed and cozy, with a fireplace that made every evening feel like a warm hug after a day of exploring. We loved waking up to birdsong and water views, and it was just a short drive to local wineries, walking trails, and the Kettering ferry. If you’re looking for a place that balances comfort, nature, and convenience, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Bon Marché. It is a spacious and beautiful home with lovely gardens and great amenities for kids as well, including a cubby house and trampoline. We were travelling with a 5 year old and 8 week old and found the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was impeccably clean and even smelled amazing. It has top end appliances and lovely bath products. The location is great, within walking distance of Burton’s reserve and the Cygnet town centre. David is a perfect host providing detailed and clear instructions. He’s friendly and responsive. Overall this was a perfect Airbnb experience and we would recommend Bon Marché for anyone looking for a luxurious and family friendly stay in the Huon. We’d love to come back sometime for a longer visit.

We had a really lovely stay at Apple Valley Retreat. We felt at home straight away, some nice touches like croissants, jam and eggs available. Everything clean and tidy. Kitchen really well equipped. Enjoyed watching the Pademelons in the mornings. Good communication throughout.

We recently had a beautiful stay at Wedge Tailed Eagle Studio in Kettering Tasmania. Craig was an excellent host. We greatly appreciated that he and his beautiful dog visited us not long after checkin. This was a human rather than just another lockbox contact. The studio is beautifully appointed, it is as described. Beautiful linens, art, comfortable bed, gas fire, double glazed windows and a very large bathroom with underfloor heating. I loved watching the wallabies and the turbo chooks, and listening to the birds- most of which I was unfamiliar with. We had a great visit to the Raptor centre -highly recommended. We ate well with local food. Oyster Cove shop is great, Bruny cheese and oysters. We cooked with local produce here. We roasted local quinces here and barbecued steak. The cooking options were good at this location.
