Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

The double private suite is within Capel Maentwrog a stunning converted chapel sat in the Snowdonia National Park, just outside the beautiful village of Maentwrog, 5 miles to the Italian village Portmeirion, 6 miles to Harlech Beach, 7 miles to the buzzing town of Porthmadog and a stones throw from Zip World. The chapel is on the famous Ffestiniog railway route. An electric car charge point is 4 miles away. We offer amazing day and night experiences that can be pre booked directly with us.

Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. Located on a biodiverse, working farm in Eryri National Park, our comfortable, homemade Shepherdess Hut sits alongside Afon Nanmor (River), with the bathroom a two minute walk away. 10 minutes drive from Beddgelert, 15 minutes from the Watkin Path up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) or 20minutes from the beach.
