Arrowhead Farm was spacious and a good fit for our needs for an extended family vacation. The pictures are accurate. The location is rural, but within a few miles of town, groceries and restaurants. It is also very close to Hungry Mother State Park. We had some issues with ants and problems with the AC, but Julie was very responsive. The blocks, books and games were a big hit with our grandson. We had a wonderful time there and would highly recommend!

Spenceville Farmhouse did not disappoint. It was better than expected. The views from this peaceful home are majestic. It is a beautiful backdrop for family photos. If timed right you might be fortunate to glimpse fireflies on a warm evening, or roaming deer on a quiet morning. We enjoyed unwinding after a busy day of exploring the area. It comfortably accommodated our family of eight. We would definitely recommend this home to those looking for a tranquil location, while still close to the conveniences of the quaint town of Saltville.

This was our second stay at Up and Away. It's so peaceful, and the hosts are fantastic. We make an annual trip to visit family, and to decorate graves of lost loved-ones in Marion... it is nice to have such a homey place to stay while we are in town. Melissa and Brian have been great hosts, and we look forward to staying in their place again if they'll have us.

Wally's place was fantastic! Super cute, charming, cozy place. Everything was very clean. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need...kitchen necessities, bathroom supplies, and even board games. Awesome location right in between Grayson Highlands and The Creeper Trail. The bed was comfortable. The home is in a very quiet, peaceful, rural location. Highly recommend!

This airbnb is the perfect getaway. My partner and I spent valentines weekend here, and even though the weather was far from ideal, we had an incredible time. Marion is only a 30 minute drive and has all kinds of fun places to shop and see. Not to mention, the people are so kind. The place is very cozy and a great place to just hang out. While it does have two bedrooms, the place is extremely small, so just keep that in mind. A few things to note: We had no cell service for the last 20-30 minutes of the drive until able to connect to the wifi. Also, i am not sure if noted, but definitely bring a 4wd vehicle. The roads are very steep, and if it rains you could find yourself in a predicament. The house is also completely in the woods, so we did find a few spiders inside during our stay. Also, while it is an easy drive, the closest towns are ~30 minute drive away. This was truly one of the best little vacations we’ve had. so relaxing, so fun. We’re already planning our next trip back!
