Our family had a fabulous time at One the Rocks. The setting was gorgeous, the kids loved the boathouse set-up and the house was very well stocked with everything we needed to make Easter dinner. We loved having the flexibility of the other cabin when our group grew. We hope to come back next year!

A very peaceful spot. The place was excellent. Very spacious and clean. Lots of fluffy towels and linens. Comfy beds. We arrived late and got confused with the two different locks in the dark, but management was very helpful and fast to respond, and we got in just fine. We looked in at the pool and gym one rainy day, but did not try them out. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it. Would stay again.

Place was amazing, easy to find and very peaceful. unfortunately the wifi password listed was incorrect and we were so busy we didn't have a chance to ask for an updated one. The refrigerator was also not working and didn't keep our food cold/frozen. Overall, a wonderful trip! I believe if we were less busy and asked Cathy about both wifi/fridge she would have solved those issues for us. We only stayed 2 nights so these were minor things!

We were greeted upon arrival with a friendly face, as well as helpful hands. We wish we could have stayed longer and the weather was better. It would have been nice to take advantage of all that was offered. We enjoyed the vintage pinball machines and how comfortable this place was.

This was our first trip to Smith Mountain Lake. We were in town for a wedding at Water’s Edge Country Club. This location was very close to the country club and wedding activities. The home has a beautiful lake view on a quiet cove without speed boats and jet skis racing by all day. The dock was convenient for swimming and relaxing. I had to call host Ronald upon check in with a couple questions and he immediately called back. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms stocked with towels. The only reason for the 4 star on location has nothing to do with the home, however there is a marina with a boneyard of heavy equipment that you pass through coming and going. Overall we had a great weekend.

My family really enjoyed our stay.The house was immaculate and well stocked.The fire pit was a great hit as were the Kyacks and paddle board. The house is close to SML state park which we went to a number of times. the ping pong table and game room was also a hit.Megan is a very responsive host!

Great couples place with fantastic views! Short drive to restaurants and grocery. We really enjoyed our short stay here and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and we enjoyed coffee in the morning overlooking the lake! We didn’t begin to use all the amenities offered as we were there for other reasons but a free boat slip, grill picnic areas and the pool were definitely inviting.
