Holiday rentals in Sly Park

I celebrated my 35th birthday with a few close friends and we all fell in love with the home! Very cozy, clean and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away! Ira was a wonderful host and was easy to contact! Would definitely come back to this location!

Our second stay at Ellie's Chalet was just as incredible as the first! We stayed at the house with a group, and it exceeded all expectations. The space is stunning — beautiful, inspiring, and thoughtfully designed. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with modern renovations that enhanced the experience. I truly appreciate the attention to detail, from dimmable lighting and high-end appliances to the water filtration system and even bidets in the bathrooms. As someone who is very particular, this is hands down my favorite Airbnb. The feng shui, the breathtaking view, and the top-tier amenities make it unbeatable. We've already booked our next stay! Huge thanks to Ellie for being such a warm and welcoming host.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin just as in the photos with all the amenities that were described. Everything worked; the TVs had many channels to choose from, board games, complimentary smore's stuff, Keurig coffee, and all the cooking necessities were there including spices, oils and some food. All the propane tanks for the outdoor fire and BBQ were full, the showers were clean, the bathrooms were spotless and the appliances were all new or near new. It was like stepping into a cozy dream cabin and we felt so cared for and looked after. We can tell that Christine truly cares about her visitors considering the detail and care she puts into making sure we were comfortable. She provided a local attractions list that was extremely helpful in locating fun things to do nearby and she even had a free entrance/parking pass for Jenkinson Lake!!! All in all a wonderful and memorable experience. We will be planning a winter escape to her cabin soon.

Absolute perfection! A quaint country cottage on shared acreage but you are welcome to enjoy/use the main house and grounds. Quiet, charming, nicely kept up with a very much appreciated gift basket, morning coffee and mini fridge in room. Loved the fire stove to keep the night chill out and add a romantic ambience. Will definitely return if ever in need of a stay in the area - can't recommend enough!

Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. Thank you, Penny, for such a special and unforgettable stay!

Samia was an amazing host! We appreciated the wine bottle she left us. I had messaged her a few times during our stay to ask a couple of questions and she replied really fast. Would definitely stay here again!

We a have stayed at several Airbnb’s and this is definitely one of our favorites…. So much so, we’ve stayed here twice. It’s beautiful and peaceful, yet close to everything you need. We had a quick stay for our nephew’s wedding and almost had to cancel. Phoebe was so kind and flexible. That’s the thing that makes the stay even better…. the people. Phoebe and her husband are kind, helpful, and think of everything! About the place itself, it’s beautifully decorated, and the bed is so comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. Everything was labelled clearly and instructions were dialed. Spacious enough to fit 6 adults comfortably for relaxing downtime as well as provided ample room for all of us to get ready for a wedding within a 20 minute drive at a local orchard. Unfortunately it was a wee chilly and we weren't able to utilize the large private backyard as we hoped but can see how that would have added to the charm of the quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend and will seek out this property again should i find myself needing to stay in the area.
