Beachfront holiday rentals in Slapton Sands

Really lovely spacious apartment in an excellent location. Pre arrival comms from Matthew made it easy. Found it a great base for visiting Shaldon, Torbay, and a longer trip to Blackpool Sands and Dartmouth which are both beautiful. Made good use of the Bodyboards in the apartment and the weather was kind. Great pubs on the back beach as well. Would recommend.

Wow! What an amazing place this is - it’s even more beautiful than the pictures! Jo and David are wonderful hosts, David even met us at the car park and helped up carry our bags down to the property. Great communication from Jo before we arrived with really clear instructions, super flexible with arrival time. We had the most wonderful weekend and will absolutely be back, can’t fault it, absolutely no negatives.

A lovely home, well equipped and close to all amenities. We had a great week there. Would thoroughly recommend though not necessarily for the less agile. Several steps in the house and steep staircase to upstairs. But has a beautiful downstairs bedroom and shower room.

What a beautiful location, a stunning property with views from every vista. It was a perfect set up for us to bases ourselves while some friends came to join. Lovely local pub 2 min walk away. The parking is definitely not for the faint of heart or anyone with a larger vehicle. I would park in the car park nearby and shuttle luggage if not confident. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. House is very well appointed and equipped. We used the property as a test and retreat, I can see with all the boats it can also be a hub for much more. I have mobility issues now due to illness and note some may find it tricky, but I found the ground floor master suite excellent for independence and was rotated around the other balconies with some assistance. I could walk to the local and was collected from outside for transport. (With some steps). The Bridge restaurant at the marina is excellent and also does take out.

Booked this Airbnb for a colleagues working in the area, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The location was excellent—convenient, close to everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout the entire process, and check-in was incredibly easy and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend this place to others and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future.

We've stayed at many Airbnb's but have to say Luke's place was one of the best. Quiet surroundings, an easy walk into town and a beautiful, scented garden to enjoy your coffee (machine supplied). In fact, Luke's place had everything you'd need for a perfect beach holiday. Prosecco and cream tea much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Another lovely stay at Palmdene. This place really is home from home and so comfortable. Love being able to stare out to see from both the kitchen and the living room. Everything we need is there. Great place for going onto Paignton beach (approx 10 mins) or go over the top and head to Goodrington beach, it will take a bit longer but the views are stunning. Booking again very soon.

Our stay at Bee's was perfect. It is so quiet and well appointed we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Bee and her husband were both very welcoming and helpful. The location was very good to explore the local area. We would highly recommend it.

A stunning lodge located in an upscale part of Brixham. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need – from a great coffee selection to hot chocolate, Biscoff treats, and even a variety of water. The interiors were beautifully designed with a stylish boho vibe, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Thanks to Helen’s lovely place, I had the chance to discover Brixham – a charming, picturesque town with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay at Thurlstone. The apartment was ideally located on the beach making it easy for easy beach fun for the kids. They went rockpooling, swimming and made sandcastles every day. We enjoyed the views of the sunset while having dinner and drinks on the balcony. The flat was bright and spacious. We felt safe and had a comfortable stay with everything that a family of five would need. Our host was responsive, accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat :)

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

This is the second year we’ve stayed here and we can’t wait to visit again. The apartment is a perfect visiting the surrounding towns and beaches. South Milton beach is literally on your doorstep with great access to the south west coastal path. The outdoor heated pool was lovely for days when the sea was just a little bit too cold and the balconies were ideal for the amazing sunsets.

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

We had a lovely stay at Anthony’s caravan. The location was ideal for visiting towns and sights in the local area. The site was also nice and quiet but had amenities if you needed them. Thanks for having us.

Our family had an amazing stay at this stunning apartment! The space was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The view was absolutely gorgeous and even better than the photos. Sarah was incredibly helpful and responsive, offering great local recommendations and making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I truly felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay her attention to detail is impeccable and the little extra touches were really thoughtful. We had a fabulous family stay at Melbrake over the Easter holidays. Such a beautiful family Home, definitely worth the steps up to the house for the fabulous view across Dartmouth and the river Dart. The kitchen/Family room works so well, the cooks enjoyed the Miele appliances in the kitchen. Lots of seating area for everyone to relax. Three bathrooms which was a bonus. Amazing communication. I have no hesitation about recommending this Airbnb.

We had a lovely stay the views are amazing and the beach so near. Lovely walks too. The village inn is great food and not far away.

Ben was amazing start to finish. Helpful, friendly, like visiting an old friend. We had quite a few luggages and reached there quite late, almost dark. We were panicking where to park and how to carry all the luggage to the chalet. But came to rescue, came to our car, helped us find a parking space and also gave us hand with carrying the luggage. What more we can ask for? Amazing experience. Thanks Ben.

First stay at the Old Tea Hut and have already booked to go again next year. The pictures do not do justice to the loveliness of the hut. Everything you could need is there and the space is just beautiful. Freya was always responsive to any messages and was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to stay again 💖

We had a really nice time in Brixham at Jennie’s place. Just the right size for a family of four (2 young children 5 & 7). Stairs were steep so perhaps not great for the very young and old. We found the layout of the house fun and it had all the amenities we needed. Great stocked kitchen, very clean bathrooms and the beds were sublimely comfortable!!!! A great selection of restaurants and pubs within Brixham itself (if you pick the right ones). Easily accessible for other local sightseeing. Located near the busy, bustling fishing port so great people watching of the comings and goings. Jennie was super helpful beforehand and quick to respond to all of our questions - the perfect host and a wonderful trip. Thank you for having us. Xx

This was our first trip away as a family of three and could not fault the apartment. The views are just impeccable. The apartment was spotless and so well equipped. The host was fantastic. Our only point would be Paignton its self we did not feel was the best area however the apartment is so close to Torquay that this was not an issue for us. Thank you and we will definitely be returning. Rhiana, Chae and Nirvana :)
