Beachfront Cottage

We had no problems checking in. We have two wheelchairs and it is accessible, we brought a 10' portable ramp and the slope was off but doable with someone pushing. Inside we had no issues getting around with the chairs, we moved the furniture a bit to make it roomier. It is such a beautiful spot, very quiet and only 8 minutes to the North Cape. The best place to eat in Tignish is at Our Family Tradition Restaurant, amazing meals, we went 3 times! It wasn't windy or cool while we were there the week of Aug. 13th and we were lucky enough to watch the second lobster season fishermen boats head out each morning at the crack of dawn and head back in early afternoon. Gemma was friendly and responsive and left a small gift for my two daughters which they loved and enjoy displaying in their rooms now back at home. I would recommend staying here and hope we can do it again next year.

Our ten-day stay was fantastic. Every evening, we sat out on the deck and watched the sunset and relaxed! The open floor plan of the house was perfect and I am looking forward to returning next year. My favorite spot was the sunroom. I put a 1000 piece puzzle together in two days because the lighting was so perfect. I would highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the slower pace of Prince Edward Island while having all the amenities that you need to be comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed up in Tignish for the weekend. Our daughter played provincials there and we were 4 mins from everything in town. Marie wished us luck and allowed us to check in early before our first game. The neighbors were lovely and their daughter played with our children.

Really beautiful spot! Quiet, secluded and very serene. The one thing we were bummed about is that it isn’t exactly directly on the water, as you can’t get down to it cause it’s too high of a cliff, other than that the place was great!

What a wonderful home! Perfect location, very private and a stunning water view and sunrises, and the ability to walk endlessly down the beach. Cindy was very responsive to our special requests, and made us feel most welcome. This is a very quiet corner of PEI. Tignish is a nice town nearby, and for serious provisioning, best to stock up at the larger stores in Summerside. And there's an outstanding organic farmstand just down the road, with amazing produce. We were wistful about having to leave this beautiful paradise and hope to return again.
