Holiday rentals with a pool in Skiathos

Shane’s place has got to be one of the most beautiful spots on the island! We enjoyed every aspect of it, our one regret is not spending MORE time there.

Without a doubt, the BEST vacation we have ever had! Not only because of the stunning island, it’s friendly locals and the most spectacular villa (sporting the most beautiful views) but also because of the INCREDIBLE hosts. My sister and I both agree they made our trip extraordinary! Nothing was too much trouble and their hospitality was above and beyond. We are so grateful to have stayed here and are already planning our next trip back to this breathtaking villa (having only left a few hours ago!) Absolutely do not hesitate to book this slice of heaven, but be warned, you will not want to leave! And when you do, make sure to visit Ginfish, the coolest drinks spot on the island! Thank you so much Tasos and Kriton, we can’t wait to come back ❤️

Τα 5 αστέρια είναι λίγα… Ένα ιδανικό μέρος για ιδιωτικότητα, επαφή με τη φύση, χαλάρωση και ηρεμία! Αν η εικόνα του σπιτιού μας είναι μέρος του χαρακτήρα μας…τότε η Catherine & ο Alexander είναι υπέροχοι, ξεχωριστοί! Ένα σπίτι με κάθε γωνιά του προσεγμένη.Με πινελιές που έχουν τις εικόνες των οικοδεσποτών από τα ταξίδια τους. Ένα μπαλκόνι βυθισμένο στα πεύκα, με θέα το απέραντο γαλάζιο! Καλαίσθητα έπιπλα, ξεχωριστή διακόσμηση, πεντακάθαρα λινά υφάσματα σε όλο σχεδόν το σπίτι ακόμη και στο king size κρεβάτι μας. Λεπτομέρειες σε όλο το σπίτι ακόμη και καθημερινές χρηστικές που δείχνουν πως η φιλοξενία αυτή γίνεται με αγάπη! Ευχαριστούμε γιατί δώσατε στις ημέρες των διακοπών μας τη ξεχωριστή πινελιά να νιώθουμε σαν το σπίτι μας!

We had a wonderful week at the villa. We jumped into the pool soon after arriving and felt so calm and relaxed in such a homely retreat, surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees in a beautifully tended garden. It was a delight to watch the fabulous swallows swooping by the pool. The beach is in walking distance, as are several beachside restaurants and a little supermarket. Staying in mid-June, the beach was not that busy, and my partner and I really enjoyed quiet early morning swims in the lovely deep water. We visited other bays and went into Skopelos Town during our stay and always felt very happy to return to Pamormos to Vila Geraki. Eva was very helpful in arranging a car hire for us before we arrived and advised helpfully on various travel queries and was so welcoming when we arrived. We felt well looked after and will remember our trip for years to come.

This Fantastic, modern house carved into the hillside with the best views of Skiathos was the perfect holiday for us and our friends. This holiday, for us, was all about R&R, its peaceful, private and quiet with a refreshing pool that is the perfect size for the little ones as it’s not too deep but deep enough for the adults to get a few lengths in! The journey into the town is quite significant if by foot and should only be taken on by experienced walkers, its downhill all the way and quite steep, by car it’s around 10mins, we hired a small 4x4 which was perfect for the supermarket runs and brief trips into town and as a party off 8 we used a minibus service if we wanted to go and eat in the town. This holiday was everything we wanted but be mindful that if you are the type who wants to be around the hustle and bustle of the town everyday, eating and drinking l, then ensure to factor in expenses for transport. I can’t speak highly enough for Natzi (the host) and his maintenance team

Everything was perfect for us. We stayed here for one week and loved the privacy of the apartment and especially the view. The apartment ist really beautiful and has everything we needed. The pool was a great plus as well! You definitely need a car to get there and you should be an advanced driver for the road up there but also for the entrance to the apartment (very steep and narrow - depending on the rented car kind of hard to turn around the car in there so we decided to drive in there backwards after two days which worked way better for us) Overall - we would definitively come back it was one of the best airbnb experiences we had so far! Dimitri’s and his whole team was also really helpful the whole time :)

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt! Der Blick vom Haus und vom Pool aus auf Skopelos Stadt und die Bucht ist wunderschön - man genießt absolute Ruhe. Der Pool liegt den ganzen Tag über in der Sonne - wir haben ihn jeden Tag morgens und nachmittags genutzt. Stylianos und sein Team (Andreas und Lory) waren jederzeit kurzfristig erreichbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit - vielen Dank dafür🙏🏻😊 Bei unserer Ankunft lagen Getränke und etwas zu essen im Kühlschrank als Erstversorgung bereit. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist nicht ganz einfach, besonders der letzte Abschnitt führt über eine holprige, unbefestigte Straße. Man gewöhnt sich allerdings schnell daran. Auf dem Weg nach Skopelos Stadt (5-10 Minuten) findet man mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Obst und Gemüsehändler) und eine Reihe von Restaurants und Tavernen. Insgesamt haben wir eine sehr schöne und erholsame Urlaubswoche auf Skopelos verbracht.
