Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Skiathos

A magical place we’ll never forget! This house was everything we hoped for and more. Beautifully restored with so much character — the stone walls, wooden beams, and cozy decor made it feel like a true island home. We loved sitting on the big veranda with our morning tea, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching the sun move across the sky. The place was spotless and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The upstairs bedroom was a peaceful little retreat. The location is perfect — quiet and private, yet close to Skopelos town and beaches. We left with wonderful memories and would happily come back again. Thank you for everything!

We had a nice time on the island. The apartment was clean and tidy. The landlords had the apartment cleaned after three days of stay and brought us, as it got a little colder, a thick blanket past, very pleasant. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating and took good care of us. The only deductions would be the very low blankets, my partner has constantly hit his head😅. The equipment of the kitchen also leaves something to be desired, such as cutting board and a sharp knife. Otherwise, all in all very pleasant apartment in a somewhat secluded and rugged location. We will be happy to come back! ☺️

The hosts Mrs. Maria and Mr. Dimitris were very helpful at all times. They were extremely friendly and polite. Dimitris picked me up from the bus stop on the day of arrival. Maria was waiting in the apartment with a great cake. She also provided me with a bag of Greek mocha coffee. This allowed me to make my own coffee every day. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the beach. It is well equipped. Supermarket and taverns within walking distance. The hosts gave me good tips for excursions. On the day of departure, Mr. Dimitris made sure that I was picked up by the taxi on time. I enjoyed my 5-day stay here very much and I am very grateful to the hosts for that!

Lena was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Even though Lena was unable to check us in herself, she had her mom meet us and show us the apartment. The entire experience was easy and comfortable. They went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I felt right at home. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We had a very good stay at Steve and Fiona’s place. They were kind, helpful, and flexible, especially with the check-in process, which made everything much easier. They even waited for us after our flight to personally show us the way to the accommodation, which we really appreciated. The place was clean and just as described. Future guests should note that parking isn’t right at the property because of the steep, rocky road, so there’s a short walk involved. That said, Steve and Fiona kindly helped us with our luggage. The location has lovely views, and the neighborhood is quite peaceful, with just the occasional sound of a barking dog. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience.

I can definitely recommend this location. It was clean, private, calm, on the countryside and had almost everything you need (kitchen, WiFi, terrace, barbecue place, lemons and grapes on the trees in the garden). Maria is changing the sheets once a week and is cleaning up twice a week. You should only be aware of animal noises (roosters, sheep, dogs, pheasants...) :-) - but this is charming! The next very nice beach and the bus station are about 20 min. by foot, I can recommend a vehicle to go to more far away beaches etc. Maria and her daughter are very friendly and helpful, communication was uncomplicated. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The home was spotless clean and cozy. The location was great, very quiet neighborhood, and easy walk to town. The host was at the airport waiting for our arrival. The host was kind, welcoming, responsive, recommended restaurants and beaches. I recommend this home.

We had a great stay! Alexandros was super friendly, always easily accessible and gave us great tips for activities. The apartment has a great terrace and in the low season it is wonderfully quiet here. Glad to come back!

Lovely apartment, in a good location both peaceful and walkable to the beach and restaurants and the port! Vasiliki always responded quickly to our messages and was very helpful to us!

We had a wonderful stay in Skiathos! The host was fantastic — very welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The apartment, a cosy basement space, was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed. The real highlight was the stunning garden overlooking the Aegean Sea — absolutely breathtaking and the perfect place to relax. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. 5 stars!

Rania and the accomodation is a true hidden gem. Never on Airbnb have we had such a welcoming, friendly and generous hosts, just like we’ve never seen an apartment looking so clean and well taken care of, including the amazing garden. Whenever we needed help, instructions or even food, Rania was always there to assist us with a smile on her face and as she says- it was her pleasure. She even gave us homemade food, fruit&vegetables from her garden and fresh water. However keep in mind the apartment is quite far from the main road so we definitely recommend renting a car or a motorcycle, the path is well accessible for good drivers. The surroundings are very quiet and there is a lot of options if you want to sit in the garden or sunbathe. We do want to recommend Rania’s accommodation to anyone considering it, as it truly was a perfect experience and felt more like visiting our own family in the countryside. It definitely was not our last stay. Thank you Rania!

We had the best stay at Maria & Konstantinos studio. Everything we could have needed was provided including tooth brushes, shampoo, body gel, body lotion and Nespresso pods among others. We enjoyed having an espresso outside on the patio in the mornings. The complimentary wine and crochet greek eye was appreciated too! We really appreciated Maria’s quick responses, as well as restaurant and activity recommendations. We would highly recommend doing a boat tour to Lalaria Beach and Skopelos and another day to Tsourgia island - absolutely stunning views with the bluest water and vibrant greenery. You can take a water taxi to Tsourgia at the port. Koukanaries beach is also a must! Our check out went especially smooth as well as Maria helped set up a taxi for us to the airport. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the northern beaches of the island, but we hope to return again one day. If this suite is still available we would highly recommend booking. We loved staying here. It was simple, well located and clean, with a studio room and bathroom. Completely blackout overnight and very quiet. Opposite a lovely local family. Surrounded by nice little neighbourhood shops, coffee spots, small supermarkets. Very quick to walk to almost all restaurants in skiathos town (max 10 mins). Plus easy access to beaches on the bus or by foot. Anastasia was v responsive and generous in her suggestions for beaches and restaurants too!

While Paris' apartments do not boast a swimming pool it has easy access to one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches on Skiathos. The view from the apartments is fabulous. Beach Tavernas, bus stop, Water Taxi to town and convenience stores are all within walking distance. The walk around the peninsula from Paris' place is one of the most stunning in Greece. Given notice, Paris will supply you with groceries or, if you want, he will cook for you. He prepared Greek chicken, roast potatoes and Greek salad for us on the day we arrived. There was even a bottle of wine. We will definitely be going back, if not again this year, then next year.

The place is amazing…. incredibly modern, with trendy decor that feels fresh and stylish. Every detail, from the furniture to the artwork, is thoughtfully chosen, creating a space that's both comfortable and visually appealing. The view is absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop. Cleanliness was top-notch, with the entire place spotless and well-maintained. It was evident that the host takes great pride in keeping the property in perfect condition. The location couldn't be better—everything you need is within easy reach. We were met by Nikos who graciously carried our bags up the 3 flights of stairs. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is absolutely amazing! In the perfect location right in the town with a view of the beautiful garden and ocean. The host Magda is so sweet and responsive! Skopelos is so beautiful and we were so thankful to have Magda as a host! Can’t wait to go back!

The apartment has the perfect location at the heart of busy Skiathos Town with great views of the harbour. It's just a short walk to any of the restaurants, bars, shops, taxis and bus. We instantly felt at home and loved the simple, greek inspired interior design. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. The bathroom is fresh and clean with a great shower! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

The stay at Machi's was fabulous. The apartment has a spacious balcony overlooking the harbor, very nice and quiet. The service and cleanliness were impeccable, Machi cleaned the room every day and with great discretion. I recommend this place for the view and for the flexibility and availability of the owner.

Maria is absolutely lovely! We had such a wonderful time in her airbnb, she was really sweet - wishing us a great trip and rest of our summer. She had great recommendations when it came to us wanting to rent a boat and her Mum was great, making sure we were stocked on clean towels, etc. Quick response time and the apartment was just as described - we had sunny morning breakfast on the balcony everyday!

Martin and Lisa are a very nice, likeable couple. Very humorous and if you have any questions, they are happy to help. Unfortunately, we had a motorcycle accident after four days and had to cancel the vacation. Martin and Lisa helped us so much, we were all very sad. We'd love to come back. It would have been such a nice vacation, the apartment is beautifully located in nature, very quiet, super relaxed and decelerating. For those seeking peace, a really very pleasant location with a great owner couple. Dear Lisa, dear Martin, thanks again for everything.

Our stay at Villa Marina on Skiathos was beyond all our expectations. Marina and her mother Morfo were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our stay. Thank you for everything! The accommodation is clean, tidy, and has everything you need. The nights spent on the balcony with a view of the sea were unforgettable. The villa is in an ideal location, so all the beaches, both north and south of the island, are close by. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and in the future, it will be the only accommodation I choose when returning to Skiathos.

Don't let the pictures mislead you - the place is actually more beautiful than it seems! The house is super comfortable and provides a overwhelming view to the city. The host is extremely welcoming and supportive. It was a cute haven for my trip in Skopelos.
