loves the view from the main window. also enjoyed the floating dock that was pretty sweet. the water was so clear and warm. Definitely would go back.

We were thrilled with our stay at The Citadel. The cabin was exactly as rhetorical pictures showed. Big bonus points for a well appointed kitchen and wonderful sharp knife set (an important detail if you cook.) We also loved the shared wood fired hot tub. If you are looking for a peaceful waterfront retreat this fits the bill.

Great place on a quiet spot on the lake. Large rooms and the kitchen & other common areas were spacious for our larger group. Docks have deep water for boats as well.

We had a wonderful weekend, the setting is beautiful and quiet, the view is amazing. Cabin was what we expected. It was easy to book amenities such as sauna and kayak on line. Lots of ice hiking nearby. Graham is very helpful and it is nice to have someone on-site.

Loved the location right by the lake. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Has everything you need. We enjoyed our time.

The lodge was a perfect place for myself and friends to stay, it was very easy to check in and out, everything inside was clean and there’s alot of space. There’s kayaks and canoes to rent and they’re set up for you in the morning right on the docks that you can also swim right off of. Very reasonably priced and I’m sure I’ll be back!

We had an amazing week. Great cabin with a beautiful view. We had a lovely stay. The only downside is that you can’t really swim off of the dock. It’s a bit weedy. But the cabin was exactly like they said. It has all of the amenities that you will need. It was quiet and very clean. A great rental.

Mindy was a perfect host right from the start. Her place is absolutely amazing, great views and good fishing from the dock. Will definitely be staying again when ever we’re in Kenora

We had an incredible time at this cabin. The surroundings were stunning, offering complete peace and tranquility. Dianne was fantastic, so accommodating, quick to respond, and genuinely kind. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we will absolutely return for another stay!

Ashley was an amazing host! We needed to make a last minute reservation and she was able to get us a cabin right away along with an early check in! The cabin was beautiful and right on the lake. We loved having access to mutiple boat landings and being able to have fires at night. Very cozy and quiet area. We plan on going back this winter and making it our new summer vacation spot!

Can’t say enough about this rustic cabin getaway. It’s located on beautiful lake. It was quiet and peaceful. Brant was an amazing host, and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful couple of days. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven!

Silver wolf was great. The host was very attentive and great to talk with. The restaurant and general store is a huge plus so you don’t have to go all the way into town if you need something. The only thing that wasn’t great was parking for the boat. This is normal for the area tho. They were very accommodating and helpful about getting me good parking with power available to charge. We had a great time.

We were overjoyed with the home, available space, privacy, gorgeous views, solitude, and the owner's help. Very helpful and friendly owner. My one minor suggestion would be to install a few wooden steps over the area of slanted rocks leading to the dock. The screened porch was a favorite place for our family to gather. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The place is so Beautiful and peaceful woodland island ! The lake access, beach, number of rooms, cleanliness of the home, Laureen made us feel like at home. She friendly and quick to reply to any questions we had. I can honestly to say I will definitely recommend any one going to kenora,Ontario(coney island) to check out this location. Overall, way exceeded my expectations.

Our small group truly enjoyed our stay at Blackbird island on LOTW. Alan was responsive leading up to the stay and welcoming while there. Everything we needed and wanted was available. While we typically choose a different adventure location each year, all agreed that we would consider a return to Blackbird Island

The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. There was a beautiful lake view from every room! It was so convenient to have the additional sleeping cabin available, and so close to town!

Absolutely amazing cabin in a wonderful location. Big enough for a good number of friends and family to come, the amenities were clean and easy to use. The huge back yard and dock was a wonderful surprise for us as we are avid fisherman and caught lots right off the dock.

Marni’s cottage was perfect! It was in pristine condition. The outdoor space was amazing!! Marni had lots of outdoor and indoor toys for my grandkids. They loved it! The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was outstanding and Marni was always available for questions. We absolutely loved this cottage rental ❤️
