This place exceeded our expectations. Part of why we chose it was the glowing reviews and photos of the place. It was a fantastic place to stay. Modern comfortable and classic wrapped in a medieval package. We loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. We really loved the little village that had both quirky and elegant aspects and had really good restaurants for its size. The Sunday market in the town was very fun with lots of food choices as well as clothing, jewelry and other fun stuff. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with many fun villages close by. We could not have loved our experience more. They went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable

Uschi & her husband are delightful. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The pictures do not do justice to how impeccable and beautiful the house is. So much thought and care and such attention to detail with love have been poured into this little gem. From the fresh flowers waiting on arrival and the filtered water - all the little touches that are over and above. The surroundings are stunning. Spending time near the horses always feels like home. Within 10 mins you are in Bergerac with all its beauty/shops/restaurants/bars. There is nothing I would change about this place, I love it. We travelled with 3 dogs and Uschi was so accommodating. There is an amazing walk from the house to the woods where the dogs can run for hours, walking past all the beautiful vineyards. We also had a nice relax and swim in the super large pool. One of the nicest Airbnb’s we have stayed in 🥰

Nous avons apprécié séjourner dans cette maison qui est bien aménagée, fonctionnelle. La terrasse et la piscine sont également très agréables. Ludovic et Jessica sont des propriétaires sympathiques, disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous reviendrons dans cette maison avec plaisir.

Petit séjour idyllique perdu en pleine nature. Calme et sérénité au rdv. L'accueil parfait, d'une grande gentillesse, Elodie a su nous faire sentire à l'aise. Ses conseils sur la région au top. Voyageant léger en moto, le logement avait tout le nécessaire pour notre séjour. Merci encore Elodie poir ce havre de paix. Amy et Laurent.

Merci encore à David et Raffaella pour leur accueil vraiment chaleureux. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir partager un moment ensemble pour faire connaissance lors de l’apéritif de bienvenue. Ils ont ensuite été attentifs à nos moindre besoins et nous ont donné toutes les recommendations nécessaires pour passer un très bon séjour. Le gîte est parfait pour une petite famille, très bien équipé (mieux que chez nous 😅) et la terrasse avec vue sur la piscine est très agréable.Une jolie pause estivale au calme et dans la nature. Enfin, Oscar a noué une belle amitié avec Maika, adorable avec les enfants.🐶

We had an absolutely brilliant stay with Tim and Sarah (and their lovely cats and dog!). The Old Goat House is truly something special – even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It’s been restored with such care and character, and every detail made our stay feel relaxing and memorable. Tim and Sarah were wonderful hosts – welcoming, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with throughout. We left feeling completely refreshed and already look forward to returning one day. Highly recommend!

The property is beautifully decorated and has all the modern amenities I needed, including a fantastic hot tub that made my evenings extra special! I loved the spacious living area and the outdoor space with stunning countryside views, complete with a charming well that added to the rustic charm. The location is perfect - just a short drive to Bergerac for wine tastings and delicious local cuisine, while still being peaceful and relaxing. My hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided great local recommendations. If you’re looking for a delightful place to unwind and explore the Dordogne region, this Airbnb is a gem! I can’t wait to return.
