Unikt och mysigt boende i nyrenoverad gammal förläggning för flottare. Flottning av timmer ägde rum under många år på bäckarna i trakten fram 60-talet. Närmaste granne är en bäverfamilj i bäcken intill. Badplats med brygga ca 600m. Roddbåt och 2 kanoter kan fritt disponeras i sjön Bosjön. Det är mycket sparsam trafik i området så här upplever du tystnaden tillsammans med naturens egna ljud. Sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls för en kostnad om 100kr/person. Vedeldad bastu vid sjön kan hyras.

På en sten i gårdens grund ska en inristning med Nils namn finnas. Bild på denna sten finns i Värmlandsarkivs fotarkiv på en bild från 1955 (foto Lennart Thelander, bilderna SEVA_11229_36 och SEVA_11230-1), men har inte kunnat hittats i nutid. Troligen är den dold av murbruk som har täckts över stenarna.

Gammelgården ligger 5 km norr om Finspång. Stugan är nybyggd i gammal stil med månfönster, kristallkrona och lyxiga sängkläder. Sjöutsikt och spång ner till Bysjön, vi har en liten roddbåt för gäster. Lån av cyklar för härliga cykellturer och lån av golfklubbor, Finspång har 27 håls bana med pay and play. Vi (Ingrid och Bill och katterna Tussilago och Pantufa )bor på gården i ett gammalt hus från 1750 talet med separat ingång och parkering.

We spent the Easter break at Josefin's lake house and it was breathtaking. The house and the surroundings are even more beautiful than the pictures; the place is magical. Josefin was very easy to communicate and very responsive. She gave us a lot of local recommendations which all turned out to be very good. She also left a welcome basket for us which was very nice of her. The weather didnt cooperate with us mostvof our stay but we still had a great time looking at the beautiful view from the inside. We will definitely be back here again during summer.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the island. You have the island to yourself, so it's completely private and provides magnificent views at the same time. The beautiful weather surely helped as well: we had lots of sunny days, so the kids enjoyed themselves swimming and jumping off the sauna balcony into the water, while we had time to relax, read books and do nothing :). We did all our cooking over the fire at the fireplace near the water in the evening sun. Of course, as an off-grid house, facilities are a bit limited - even though there is a warm shower. The town with supermarket and shops is nearby, but of course it takes a boat ride to get there. Lots of fun in the sun, a bit of planning required when it's rainy ;). It's been a 'back to basic' experience that we can recommend to anyone.

We hadden geen betere overnachtingsplek kunnen hebben na drie dagen kajakken. Gezellig huisje van alle gemakken voorzien: heerlijk bed, prima keuken met voorraad en fijne douche. Het huisje ligt helemaal privé, was super schoon en we konden er met de kajaks komen. Fruit voor het ontbijt plukken in de tuin :). Hele gastvrije en warme ontvangst door Karin met als kers op de taart een heerlijk likeurtje.

Ein tolles Haus in traumhafter Lage. Die Terrasse und die Aussicht sind einfach wahnsinnig schön. Die Kommunikation vor und während des Aufenthaltes war schnell und sehr freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert und jederzeit wieder!!!

Rekommenderar detta boendet för er som vill uppleva harmoni, spegelblank sjöutsikt och tystnad. Boendet innehöll allt man kunde tänka sig och lite till. Morgonkaffe i solen till fåglarnas kvitter och olika grillmöjligheter att välja på till kvällen. Stugan var mkt fräsch, välvårdad och välstädad. Fanns inget vi saknade. Snarare tvärt om. Om möjligen lite längre kvällssol men den är svår för värden att lösa. Superboende!
