Family-friendly holiday rentals in Silver Star Mountain

Beautiful home, very spacious. Great living room area and kitchen. We much enjoyed our stay here, even during covid restrictions only allowing us to have a group of 6. Lindsey was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The only thing was the walls are a bit thin, and noise does echo in the house. For the people going skiing or snowboarding, who may prefer to sleep early, I’d recommend taking a room on the bottom floor if the rest of the group is up staying late. Also need to be mindful that this is a duplex, so the neighbours wall is next to yours. I recommend closing windows and balcony to seal the noise in, as we did have a noise complaint. (We were def being noisy the first night though, so we’re not surprised)

We had originally booked a different property w Lindsey and Silverstar Stays/Airbnb location for 3 nights. 145 B Silverqueen Rd. After this stay we searched for more available properties as "we want to stay longer at SilverStar" . So this Grandview unit was available for 2 nights...I think other properties require a 3 night minimun stay at this time of year. the nightly price (before taxes and cleaning and other services) was well below the typical nightly stay.

Lovely chalet with wonderful amenities. Well-stocked kitchen with every appliance required for those who love to cook, comfortable beds, great hot-tub, breath-taking views. Easy ski-out and easy ski-in from the Attridge runs, as well as cross-country trails right out the back door. The house is 3 stories and there is a stair from the garage to get to the front door--once inside, the kitchen and living area on the top floor is lovely, comfortable, and feels like home . Would rent again.

Josh’s place is a wonderful blast back to what skiing in the okanagan used to be and should still be. Can’t wait for our next trip back!

Lindsay was super responsive to all inquiries and very accommodating. We booked for six nights and she advised right away we could have the seventh night for free. The place was super clean and tidy. The kitchen was probably the best equipped of any airbnb I've stayed in. There were tons of towels and changes of sheets if we wanted them. The hot tub, although shared by all the condo, was little used apart from ourselves. We used it every day and had it to ourselves. Garbage was collected mid-week. We were three guys and the place seemed about the right size for us; any more adults and we would have wanted something a bit more spacious. We chose to drive to the village every morning and park as it took only a minute or two.

Renate’s place is in a great spot. You can walk out and be on the hill, snowshoeing, tubing, or skating within 5 mins (or less!). Renate was also very communicative and the condo was very nice and clean!

A spotless well appointed condo, ski in and ski out with 50 feet of walking only. Close to village, very comfy beds, cozy ambience with fantastic views of the mountains. There was even a guitar which we played and sang to !!! Bonus!! Silverstar is a great place and having excellent weather and snow made it a perfect ski trip. Epic as we say! I will be back.

The Bridge Ski Brio was the perfect home for our group! Best stocked kitchen, a pleasure to cook in! Comfortable beds, gorgeous views, lots of space, easy access to ski out. The host was really wonderful to communicate with. Highly recommend this place!!

The place looked just like the pictures. Everyone was comfortable and had a great time. I would stay there again for sure!

We enjoyed a short stay at Lindsay’s place during the shoulder season. It was quiet on the mountain at that time and Lindsay’s place was a haven for our family to relax and restore. The place was gorgeous, spacious and clean. We dreamed of coming back to the house during the winter, as the ski-in-ski-out and proximity to the village looked absolutely ideal. Thank-you Lindsay for a wonderful stay.

Well located unit for skiers and Lindsay communicates quickly

We loved this place. It was private, secluded and exactly as described.

This was one of our favourite homes we have stayed at with our group of 4 families. Probably the best location and every room had its own living room attached and bathroom. The adults and kids played hide and seek for hours!

Nermin's property was beautiful, well-kept. The pool was a huge hit with our girls as they had hours of fun swimming and playing. She was always willing to help and was such a kind person. she offered and made us the most delicious pizza that we all devoured. She was interesting to speak with about her travels and life, and her dog Rollo kept us from being too homesick for our dogs. We had an excellent experience and would be happy to return again next summer. We highly recommend this great spot.

We had a great stay at Rahul's home. It was very clean and was a good space for 4 adults. The stand out for all of us were the views. His home has the most incredible perspective of the lake and mountains from both the patio and balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with all types of utensils and glassware which made it very easy to cook any meals we wanted without bringing a bunch of stuff from home. Lots of activity options at the resorts- It was nice to not have to commute everyday. He was responsive and attentive to any questions/needs we had leading up to and during our stay. The most organized and communicative host any of us have had on Airbnb. The beach on site was quite small and very rocky with a small parking lot. Would recommend getting down there early in the day in order to get a spot on the beach and in the parking lot. The driveway at the home was also very small which made it difficult to park any of our vehicles.

We really enjoyed our 10-day stay. It was down time with our daughters after a busy season. The location worked well for us and our various activities. The unit was well appointed inside and out and had everything we could want/need. The highlight was the roof terrace; we spent most of our 'at home' time there: coffee in the morning, reading in the loungers, BBQ in the evening, plus it allowed us to easily receive & entertain friends. One friend who lives nearby said she wanted to recommend the condo to her visiting friends/family. We were often on the lake with SUPs or boat but appreciated the pool and hot tub on a cool/windy afternoon. Thank you for making the whole trip so easy. Kate

Great location for a relaxing few days

I came from Ontario to spend Mother’s Day weekend with my daughter and her boyfriend who live in Kelowna and my son who came down from Whistler. We had a great visit, the cottage was comfortable, we did a lot of walking around the resort. We had a couple of good rounds of mini-golf too! 😀 The morning sunrises were beautiful!
