Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Silly-en-Gouffern

David was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the house which was very spacious and comfortable for five of us. The garden was a delight with beautiful roses in bloom and it was quiet and sheltered to sit out in and listen to the birdsong. It was quite one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

The cottage fully met our expectations. I would say that the place is even better than the photos, especially the surrounding area, which Peter and Sandrine and their children take care of with love. Excellent hosts, beautiful place in the countryside, amazing accommodation with all the amenities and tasteful decoration. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay at Muriel's house. The house is nice, with a rather well-equipped kitchen, and especially a beautiful garden, very pleasant to live in. Communication with Isabelle, who manages the accommodation for Muriel, was excellent: she was very responsive and helpful, intervening quickly to help us on a few small points (setting the temperature of the water heater, replenishing pellets for the dishwasher, lending tongs for the barbecue). Note, to be completely thorough: parking is under trees that ooze a lot of resin, which did not fail to cover the car... good for a wash at the end of the stay! But nothing serious. Finally, the nearby town of Sées is really worth a visit: a remarkable heritage for a town of 4,000 inhabitants. We were 5 adults and we all recommend this rental without hesitation!

Beautiful property and surroundings and an amazing host! We had to change our plans at the last minute due to a family illness.Hélène was emphatic and went over and above to accomodate a new date. We will definitely stay again if travelling through the area and would recommend to anyone. Thank you Hélène for being so warm with us it means a lot!

Sandrine and Yves were the perfect hosts from the initial booking up until we left. Nothing was too much trouble, they provided great recommendations for local restaurants. The house was perfect for our needs and exactly as advertised. The surroundings were very peaceful, we had a great week’s stay at La Blanchere. We will definitely be back to stay again.

A big thank you to Johann, super clear welcome message! access to the garden is fantastic, it's the most beautiful private garden I've ever seen in my life, it's worth the detour, I just regret not having been able to work there (missing a small table and a chair) Otherwise, fridge with the capacity to accommodate large bottles, impeccable bedding, bathroom in great condition! All in the freshness, and in good smells. This accommodation is a little gem for 2 people! Johann even dropped us off following my request for wooden cooking utensils... Cozy, clean and quiet place . Perfect location to discover the Mancelles Alps. To visit Fresnay / Sarthe , St Léonard des bois , St Cénéri le Gerei and the hikes from these sites . Perfectly clean, spacious, really bright apartment, with a beautiful kitchen with very recent appliances. 2 very large closets in the hallway allow you to easily store linen and personal effects of 4 people (wardrobe and linen): to unpack the suitcases without anything lying around in the living room or bedroom. The bedroom side bedding combines comfort and quiet at night. The sofa is easily convertible, for those who like a firm bed. The long balcony allows you to have a coffee outside and partly overlooks a public garden. The house of the holy spouses Zélie and Louis Martin is 5 minutes away, the basilica and the old streets 7 minutes away by strolling. Everything is within walking distance, once the car is parked just in front, no worries even with a large 8-seater vehicle. We'll keep the address for a future stop in Orne!
