If you're considering booking this property, then do it! We have had the best week staying here and I cannot rate it highly enough. The host was great at communicating before the trip and whilst we were there. Whenever we had a question, nothing was too much trouble. She contacted us to let us know we could check in a little bit earlier as the property was ready, and this was much appreciated. One of the biggest things we look for in an airbnb is cleanliness, and I have to say, the property was spotless. The kitchen had all the amenities you could want, and the house had lovely little touches for our toddler; toys, highchair, stair gate and bed guard. Whilst the weather wasn't great, there was a lovely sized garden, and our toddler was able to visit the horses behind the garden and feed them carrots. Everything was a very short drive away, and location was great. We enjoyed a dinner in the pub garden of the Ancient Briton. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The place is exactly as described, a very cosy little cottage with everything you need. Everywhere was clean and tidy apart from general dust you’d expected, with a lovely little basket of treats left for us on arrival. Check in was self done, flexible, and smooth, same with leaving. Lovely little village, a couple of local pubs within walking distance, lovely cafe just next door along with some very friendly ducks, chickens, lambs, goats and the occasional cat. Would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend if you’re looking for a cosy and quiet get away. During our stay we explored Cheddar, Glastonbury and Frome, all within an hours drive and lots of lovely cafes and independent shops.

I’ve booked it for the weekend for a birthday surprise for my partner and balloons and a banner was put in the room for when we get there. The place was lovely, peaceful and beautiful. Looking forward for booking it again very soon! Highly recommended x Ily

We had a fantastic stay for 2 nights at Mabel Cottage. Debbie was on hand to greet us immediately upon arrival and she talked us through all of the relevant instructions for the hot tub etc. Very friendly and approachable and made it clear she was just over the way if we needed something. The barn was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Towels were provided for the bathroom and the hot tub and we had a relaxing time. The wood fired hot tub was great......we spent about 2+ hours in there on our 2nd night. We also made use of the BBQ under the covered area (needed in the Welsh rain). The local area is stunning and there are lots of dry and wet weather things to do within the Brecons area. Revisiting the Waterfalls was a highlight ......you do need to be energetic as described as some steep gradients and uneven steps/ground! All in all we had a fantastic time at Mabel and would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and tidy and Clare went above and beyond with complimentary cake and fizz on arrival. Clare was very responsive when we had questions about the area. The house felt like a home, and it was great to be able to make the most of the spa pool after a day out. We would definitely book again.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. What a lovely house. Beautifully decorated and all in lovely condition. Walkable to several waterfall trails and a choice of 3 pubs/restaurants. Perfect. Lovely hosts too.

Beautiful, really well kept, inviting, clean and cosy. Bridie was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. Porlock had fantastic scenary and was well located. There was an array of restaurants and tea rooms, although lots were not open when we stayed! (End of May Bank Hol week). Both Ship pubs were great, with lovely food and service. All in all, a fantastic time was had by all!

This is our third stay at the Malthouse and it never disappoints. Love the location and the ease of getting to the beaches. The house is always clean and Jane is very proactive if there is any issue at all. We’ll be back..

We had a lovely weekend stay at Owen and Zofia’s. Carla the dog was super friendly and Owen showed us his cider press and gave us a taster. It was tastefully decorated and there was everything we needed for a lovely stay. Highly recommend 🙏🙏

Beds comfy which was much needed. Shop is literally 1 minute fro the apartment so very handy. Quiet little town. If you’re going to the pub get one of you to drive as it’s a steep hill.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tracey's cottage which had everything we needed - plus a much appreciated welcome pack! The surrounding area is lovely, with great walks on the doorstep, fabulous views and easy walking distance to town centre. Would recommend this cozy cottage as a perfect base for exploring Minehead and would gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is very peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The terrace and garden were beautiful – ideal for enjoying the sun and the lovely view of nature. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended – we would definitely love to come back!

Excellent accommodation. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. High standard of cleanliness and clutter-free, yet all facilities we needed. Would 100% stay here again. 20 mins walk to beach. Really great local pub/food.

lovely cottage exactly what we'd hoped for perfect for me and my daughter and it was as we expected immaculately clean and well maintained, small but nice outside area and the added bonus of the lovely shop next door i had a great pasty and bottle of wine from the shop. staff were friendly we would highly recommend Peacock Cottage.

What a fantastic stay. Beautiful property with a comfy bed and sofa bed and a little nook for the kids to sleep in. The house was very clean and had everything you would need. Amazing area, close to the beach and coastal path and we went for lovely walks with beautiful views. Hot tub was fab, we could watch the sunset from it. Sam was very helpful and responsive. We have booked to return for later in the year. Thanks so much.

This is an excellent cottage. It has a lovely relaxing ambience inside and out. Facilities and consumables provided in the house were perfect. Location is great. I highly recommend it.

Gorgeous cottage in beautifully peaceful surroundings and walking routes from the doorstep. We loved staying here despite rain and the beautifully kept private gardens that guests can access on Thursdays are just lovely to walk around with birdsong all around you. We enjoyed the guest gardens with views to the distant Brecon hills when we had a quiet moment. Very easy to find and Alastair provides excellent additional information on restaurants, walks and local amenities. You are only 30 mins from Hay on Wye and other lovely places.

We travelled as a family of three with obligations in Bridgend for a week, and Liz's cottage was the perfect home away from home! It is beautiful and spacious - "cozy" in the description is misleading. It's beside a farm with horses - a real treat for our son! And it's got to be one of the most sparkling clean Airbnbs I've ever stayed in! Liz is an exceptional host and was very kind to let us check in a few hours earlier - thank you! She was highly responsive both before and during our stay and was attentive to anything we needed. Highly recommended cottage and host! Will stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Mike and Wendy's place. It was in such a lovely and peaceful location, and had everything we needed. We met Mike who was so warm and friendly. The village is lovely with a welcoming pub. Would highly recommend Mike and Wendy's place - we'll definitely be staying there again.
