Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Sierra Leone

Lovely place! Owners and staff are great people. Made me incredibly welcomed to Sierra Leone, got a yummy meal and a great night's sleep, and helped me get settled and off to the ferry. Would recommend anyone to stay here on their way into Sierra Leone.

This is my first Airbnb experience, I have to say Lyande and her family's hospitality really makes me have high expectations for my future airbnb stays. I spent two nights at Lyande's place. The experience was just great. Lyande is super responsive. Before I arrived She helped me arrange pickup and saved me a lot of trouble. When I arrived, her parents cooked very delicious food for the dinner and I enjoyed watching a night football game and chatting with this lovely family. The house is very spacious and very well maintained. It looks gorgeous from both the outside and the inside. And If you wanted to enjoy a nice mountain view from the balcony in the morning and do not wanted to be disturbed by the noisy of the city, this is the place you are looking for. The house is not far away from the Lumley beach, and Lyande and her family are super helpful when you need travel advice, when they are available they will even take you on a nice hiking tour. The meal price is reasonable and the food was great. I really enjoyed my stays. Thanks, Lyande! Definitely will book this place again if I visited Freetown again.

I had a great two night stay at Oasis. I enjoyed the food, and Gladys was excellent at helping me arrange a taxi from the Seacoach ferry to the place. She was also VERY responsive when I needed to ask something.

Very nice and quiet place at the beach. Your hear the sound of the waves in your room! The room was decent, nice and clean. Joseph is a very friendly and helpful guy!

Gem Resort is a total Gem! The location is something else; a beautiful totally secluded beach with golden sands, safe waves and lovely rockpools to each side. 10 minutes drive to Bureh beach and Kent Beach if you want some busier beaches with more bars and action. The rooms are wonderful - beautiful chalets with everything you need - fresh sheets on a comfy double bed, good fans and aircon, and a nice sized bathroom with a decent shower and hot water. All worked perfectly, including the constant electricity. Wifi wasn't ideal, so make sure you have an SL phone with data etc. Each chalet (I think there are about six of them) has its own little balcony and go right onto the communal area with a swimming pool, small bar and seating area with outdoor loungers, then straight onto the beach - 50M from your chalet door to the sea! Khadijah was a fabulous host and her staff were very attentive. The free breakfast was excellent. The dinner was tasty too. Will return with my whole family!
