Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Take long walks on the beach collecting shells, or go for a swim. We are one of the few places left in San Jose de Buenavista with an actual beach; and not an esplanade or government seawall in front of the resort.

Bedroom with access to the Beach

Smooth check-in. Beautiful beach. Good wi-fi connection. Tricycles available at the gate of the property. Location is like 2 minutes away from the bus station—can even walk to and fro there with ease. Host very, very responsive and won’t leave you hanging. You get more than what you paid for. Beach totally private. Amazing views. Just perfect!

We enjoyed the time we spent at The Texas Filipino Beach Resort. Everyone made us feel at home, and was responsive to any concerns or questions. James’ place is the most enjoyable Air BnB I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many. Big Kudos to James, Melinda, and everyone at the resort.

DdN - Bedroom w access to beach

If you like private feels and wanted to have a vacation and unwind. this is the place. The aircon is very cold (commendable) and throughout our stay we feels like we own the place and the garden it is so nice. haciendera feels heheh.. But toilet is slow to flush, i think they should work on that. but the rest is excellent especially the price for a Barkada getaway.

We were treated like family from check-in to check-out. It was a very relaxing weekend in a beautiful location on the ocean. I highly recommend Texas Filipino Resort, if your seeking a quiet relaxed vacation with beautiful grounds. James and Melinda go above and beyond the call of duty to assure your time there is enjoyable. Plus James speaks fluent Southern Twang. A+++++

We had a wonderful stay at Mama Tita’s Bed and Breakfast! The home has a cozy, rustic charm that made us feel right at home. Alex and his niece Shine were incredibly hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. Alex was kind enough to allow us an early check-in and late check-out, which really helped us manage our schedule before heading back to Manila. He even helped me sort out the Wi-Fi late at night so I could work my shift. The breakfast he prepared was absolutely delicious, and Shine’s freshly brewed coffee every morning was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, and welcoming stay!
