chalet #2 is a lovely small building on the lake shore that was built with the budget visitor in mind. it has all the essentials and a small cooking kit, fridge etc. for those who need more we have cottage and castle buildings also.
“The place is even more beautifully and relaxing than it looks. We stayed at John’s and Edith’s little chalet for two nights after a couple of busy days in Livingstone. I really enjoyed this little „home away from home“ right at the shores of Lake Kariba. In my opinion this place is really made for just sitting, watching and well, just being. There’s plenty to see and no rush. If you don’t like being outdoors, maybe you should look for another place. But if you enjoy watching birds and other little creatures this is the place to go. We even saw a fish eagle and a little mongoose. But don’t worry, there’s mesh on all the windows, so all the insects and creatures stay outside and you can sleep safely. Contrary to what we read in some reviews, there was a fully equipped cooking place with a pot and a pan and cutlery, plates, glasses and cups for two people. There’s a kettle to boil water and a small fridge. If you need more or you’re a bigger group, have a look at the cottage or even the castle. And if you like dogs you’re in for a treat. Just sit down and they’ll come running for you to pet them. If you don’t like dogs, don’t worry, they’ll go away and leave you be. If you want to visit the dam, it’s just a half hour drive away. If you want a decent cappuccino or a delicious bream, you can head to one of the nearby lodges. You do need a 4x4 for the last bit of the road.”
My, place, at 4 Jacaranda Close, is close to Art and crafts, , art and culture, family-friendly activities,, restaurants and dining,, great views. You’ll love my place because of Wild life and proximity to shops, wildlife activities,, the outdoors space, the people. “My daughter was volunteering in the country of Malawi and when she was finished she decided to travel to Zimbabwe. Her travels sent her and friend to Tambudzayi's to rest. The hospitality was awesome. I appreciated my daughter being in a caring environment. The host prepared breakfast and dinner. They received recommendations for fishing and interesting sites to see. This was a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. ”
