We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 5 day stay with our kids and dog. Beautiful, private and peaceful setting. We enjoyed the walking paths, hard to believe there were other cottages nearby - so cleverly designed for maximum privacy. Nice and warm & cosy on our 1 wet day, listening to the rain through the trees. We also get much appreciated taking the kayaks & canoe out on the lake. The information kiosk was a fun daily activity for the kids to change DVDs. Highly recommended staying here, comfy and impeccably clean. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect little getaway for the family. The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was a great location that worked beautifully for little trips to the surrounding towns with the kids. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We booked 5 nights at Harmony Forest and it wasn't quite enough so booked an extra night on our last day. The accommodation was beautiful. The surroundings are stunning. The wildlife keeps you guessing everytime you are out and about on what you will see when you move around the spacious grounds. We packed the kids bikes and they were able to ride around and explore. I highly recommend staying here for families or just people wanting a beautiful escape in nature. It's on our top list of favourite places and we will definitely be back 😊

Second time we have stayed here. Love the secluded, private forest setting and that we can bring our dog with us. Having the pit fire on an evening is a highlight. We will be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My daughter enjoyed it the most as she looks forward to meeting the farm animals everyday. The space was clean, spacious and well equipped! Would recommend friends coming here for a nice peaceful stay.

Two families had a great start in Margaret River. The house was clean and spacious, in beautiful green surroundings, close to the heart of Margaret River. Jacqui and Martin were friendly and responsive to our questions, and great hosts. Would highly recommend!

Cosy spot with homely feel, lots of books and games, a really nice mezzanine main bedroom and a well equipped kitchen, great as a base for surfing, winery visits and exploring the area

It was my first trip to Margaret river and the stay in Margaret River Hideaway made it awesome. It was a nice, quiet, cool and calm place to stay with animals like alpacas, peacocks, emus, geese, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, and Scottish highland bulls. Feeding those animals gave our children a great experience and nice pictures as future memories. It’s a bit expensive but worth it. I would recommend others highly to stay there with their children.

I had a great stay in Jecks Cottage. It was a peaceful location just a short walk to the beach, walking distance to the centre of town, and a house with a lot of character. The house was clean and comfortable- a great place to relax.

Simple little cottage, clean, great location and perfect for a small family

Beautiful home in a great location. We were greeted by a family of kangaroos on arrival which was a great way to start! Beds were comfy and each room had a fan and an oil heater which is a big plus. Super comfy stay with the perfect balcony for sipping coffee or wine.

The best relaxing get away. In the middle of a forest, so private. Yet not far from amenities at all! Decor was gorgeous. The beds were so comfortable and the linen to die for! We had everything we needed.

We LOVED our stay! The cottage felt right out of a storybook. Though it's situated in the middle of nowhere, it was a great retreat for us city folks. We arrived to a night full of crazy stars. However, as we arrived late, do note to drive carefully as the roads are very dark and we encountered a couple of wild kangaroos crossing our path. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all sorts of utensils, pots, pans and even small details such as food shredders. There's a BBQ cooker available too! It was near to town with lots of amenities and restaurants. We enjoyed shopping for ingredients and cooking our dinners at the cottage. The other big plus was the incredible joy of seeing kangaroos chilling and hopping around the area, sometimes right outside the cottage. The whole booking to checking in/out processes were seamless online and via instructions (though a little face-to-face interaction would be great). We would love to come back one day and it's highly recommended!

My gosh what can I say for our farm stay with Brian, it was exactly what we needed for a weekend get away and upon arrival Dani was so accommodating and welcoming. The cottage was spotless and a beautiful welcome breakfast tea and coffee for our use. The grounds are just beautiful and loved having the peacocks stop by to say hello☺️ We had the best few days and will certainly return for our winter getaway to the Hideaway 😊

Amazing stay 🌿 We loved our time at this beautiful cottage surrounded by nature. Ashe was a fantastic host, super responsive and flexible 😊. The beds were really comfy, and everything was super clean 🛏️✨The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of kitchenware, perfect for a group of 6. I especially loved how peaceful it felt and how warm and cozy the house was with the fire going. As someone who gets cold easily, I’ve never felt more comfortable! Highly recommended! 🌟
