The forested lot provides a peaceful and private location just a short hike to the Shenandoah River. The surrounding natural beauty and wildlife were the highlight of our stay. This was a lovely stay! The house was clean (obsessed with the woody fresh smell of the pine) and had everything we could have needed. We even enjoyed stormy weather under the roof on the back deck!

I recently stayed at an incredible Airbnb that exceeded all expectations. The property boasts amazing views that left us in awe every morning, with stunning vistas stretching across the landscape. This house is very well located for enjoying Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, & Front Royal, VA. The northern most park entrance is a very short drive, & the town of Front Royal is also a short drive. The house was very comfortable for my family of eight adults and one grandchild plus dog. We convened there for a week for a family get together. You won’t be bored. Solomon has provided everything you could possibly want to have fun and relax, from the very nice outdoor hot tub, fire pit with chairs and the makings of s’mores, hammock, and corn hole game, to the downstairs game room with pool table, the extensive library, fireplaces and nice back porch with grill, table, chairs, & porch swing, etc.! The master bedroom is amazing, the downstairs bedroom is also very nice, both with en-suite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are much smaller and share a bathroom although there is a half bath off the kitchen. It worked for us. We hated to see the week end! Would come back.

This cabin was absolutely perfect! Clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location. Easy to get to hiking and wineries, and so quiet in the evenings. We will definitely be back!

We traveled with our 2 kids (2 and 4) and like others mentioned this listing has everything you could need! The listing even had step stools my 4 year old to reach the sink to wash her own hands. The hot tub was fantastic, extremely clean and comfortable. We visited Shenendoah National Park and it was a great home base. Definitely bring your groceries as it is a very secluded area and it’s a great space to cook grill, relax and reset ! Very comfortable, clean and organized!

This cabin was the perfect find! My best friend and I took a trip here for our birthdays and we had a blast! The cabin was very cute, clean, and had everything we needed for our 3 day trip. It was private and surrounded by lots of trees and nature. The view from the kitchen/dining room and the hot tub is stunning! Pictures do no justice! Brian was a great host! I I have nothing but good things to say about Brian’s cabin. I definitely recommend booking!

Great, comfortable house with easy access to Shenandoah park and river!

A very cute and well designed cabin, perfect for a quiet weekend. Felt incredibly private. We appreciated the provided firewood and while we personally didn’t take advantage of any of the food stocked in the house, you’d be well taken care of if you got stuck there for a few extra days. Worth noting that the bed is actually a full size and not a queen as described in the listing, but everything else was as described.

The home was in a private peaceful area . We thoroughly enjoyed the big yard and the two swings for taking the beautiful scenery in. We relaxed by the fire pit and loved the lit up pathway walking out to it . The two person shower was a treat. It really was pretty. After we came back from dinner we played some pool in the game room and educated my sons on the record player which delightfully brought us back in time. One night here was not enough to enjoy all this lovely home has to offer. Highly recommend staying a few days when you come!

My family of 5 (including our pug Billy) had a wonderful stay at Applemoon Cabin. It is such a cute & cozy place. Everything was very clean. We loved the screened in porch, the loft and the fire pit outside. The stream next to the fire pit was peaceful and made for relaxing evenings sitting outside. We drove downtown to Harper’s Ferry and did some exploring and site seeing - the drive was only about 20 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. I recommend this cabin to those who are going to visit Harper’s Ferry area. Thank you for hosting us Ashley & Jason!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at this property. The view was stunning, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, convenient location, and spacious outdoor area—it was a perfect spot to unwind. There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The outdoor dining table shown in the listing photos wasn’t actually there, which was disappointing since we had planned to eat outside. We also reached out to the host to ask how to turn on the deck light but didn’t receive a response. Additionally, the tap water didn’t look okay to drink, so we stuck to bottled water for the weekend. Overall, it was still a positive experience, and with a few improvements, this place could be even better

This cabin is exactly what my fiance and I needed. It was extremely cozy and we felt right at home. Raymond ‘s listing is exactly what we expected and exactly what we got. The outdoor shower is DIVINE, and with nobody around we felt at peace. Besides Raymond’s house (which is right up the hill) there is nothing around except for trees. There’s two of the cutest little hammocks with the prettiest view and a huge outdoor fire pit. We brought our two dogs with us and I think they were more relaxed than us. It is super dog friendly and they even had some dog toys there for them to play with. There is a previous review that says cell service is spotty, but we had no problem with text messages sending or outgoing phone calls. The host is extremely friendly and does make sure that you have everything you need. If you’re looking for a getaway where you can unplug and unwind, this is your perfect place. Ps, the outdoor shower water gets really hot!! 🤤

We only stayed one night at the cabin—but what a night it was! We arrived in the evening and were immediately greeted by a small herd of cows, which absolutely delighted my dairy farmer husband and our farm-loving son. After a week at the beach in a less-than-cozy house with minimal amenities, followed by a full day of walking around Monticello, this cabin felt like a warm hug. The space was incredibly comfortable—recliners everywhere (my kind of paradise!) and plenty of seating for everyone. With two full bathrooms, it made traveling with my family and brother so much easier. The peaceful, scenic view was just the cherry on top. Our kids had a great time too—it’s a wonderful spot for families. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning—a thoughtful touch from our hosts. Honestly, we kicked ourselves for only booking one night. Lesson learned… we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

This was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. My husband & I enjoyed a weekend getaway here and loved it, especially being so close to the river. The house is exactly as described, spotless, well decorated & with all the amenities. The area is very quiet & safe, which is perfect for relaxation. Communication with Erica & Richard was always quick and they gave us some great recommendations for restaurants to try. We’d definitely return for a stay at their house.

Pictures do not do this place justice! This is a stunning property tucked away, just outside of Frederick Maryland. Very easy to get to. The short hike to the top of the property is rewarded with stunning mountain views and sunsets! We also did the half mile hike from the top of the property to the Appalachian Trail on to Washington Monument State Park! We loved the cabin itself as it is very rustic and so cozy! We enjoyed the fire pit and smores every night we stayed. The host was extremely helpful, providing local events that weekend and a great recommendation for restaurants and vineyards. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a getaway outside of DC in the mountains!

Anthony was an amazing host and was so helpful in the communication process and booking and assisting us with all of our questions. This air b and b is absolutely beautiful and so much thought and intention put into the design and the surroundings in the woods added to the aura. The hot tub, sauna, and all the wonderful amenities made this getaway a dream. Such a comfortable bed and we had everything we needed. Matt's place was beyond expectations. It was so cozy and the bear decor everywhere was so cute! We had everything we needed and then some. the kitchen is beautiful and we enjoyed the serene back porch. The fenced in yard was a major bonus for our pup to enjoy the nature as well. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the grill area as it was raining most of our trip but that would have been a great place to enjoy our dinners. The theater and game room were awesome too. We had one mishap with the propane company locking the propane, so we couldn't use the gas stove and no one could come out to fix it since it was a holiday weekend. Matt immediately remedied the situation by instacarting us an electric 2 burner stove (you're welcome to any future guests that need it😀) . I would definitely recommend Matt and Matt's place and will stay again if ever in the area. Thank you so much for making our vacay great!

Great place, quiet in a beautiful setting. For the size of the town it was nice to find two notable places to eat; "Mack's Bingo Kitchen" for dinner and the "Lost River Trading Post" for a light fare and coffee. There are some great hiking trails near by and within a reasonable drive. Unfortunately most of our stay we had rain but we managed to get one good hike in. Hosts were very responsive to our inquiries. Thanks!

Natasha’s cabin in the wilderness was such an incredible getaway for us. This place is a hidden gem that offers an opportunity for deep recharge and reconnection. The esthetics of the place are incredible- light, airy, fresh and modern. Her activity recommendations were really helpful and we got to enjoy the beautiful skyline drive not far away. Stargazing from the hot tub was a highlight! We hope to get the chance to stay here again!
