House holiday rentals in Sharrow

We had a lovely time staying at the Old Angel with a large group of women. The sheer number of bathrooms was super handy with the large group number, and the living and dining spaces were super functional for a group of our size. There is a one half freezer and a large fridge, which Nicola had left some treats in which was a lovely touch. Bedrooms were well organised and very clean, with towels provided. There’s a village shop right next door, and a pub 20 meters away which was glorious in the May sunshine. Nicola and her team were very helpful in response to any questions/feedback we we had - overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this place to others!

Wow what an amazing property, just wish I could have stayed longer. Home from home with more. Comfortable bed/s great quality including bedding and towels of luxury quality. Thoughtful touches on arrival. Local amenities, plenty of restaurants/pubs walking distance. Beautiful local reservoir walks, plenty to do and see. Spa was an amazing added bonus to enjoy your stay with full relaxation under the stars and after a long walk. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to my family and friends already. One of those weekend breaks that you don't want to end. Thanks for everything.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Had a lovely stay, Anna was very responsive, very friendly and helpful with clear check in instructions and information about the property. Will definitely book again when going back to Sheffield, the house felt very much like home.

Wen's place is located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with shops and cafe's a short walk away. It is also an easy bus ride away from the city centre. Wen warmly welcomed us on our arrival showing us around the spotlessly clean apartment with a supply of plush towels, and linens on the beds and healthy green pot plants dotted throughout giving it a lovely light and bright feel. It was a great addition to have the use of a washing machine and dryer while staying at Wen's place. Wen is a thoughtful host, she kept in touch before and during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed, she also gave us great advice about the taxis, shops etc in the area. Thank you Wen for a great stay.

Great communication from Steven and Jenny and everything was as described. You literally do just move into their home and so everything is there for you. A huge thank you to them for entrusting us with it

We used The Nest as a base to get ready for my daughter’s wedding and the size and light in the open plan kitchen/lounge was perfect. Lovely location in Sheffield too

Had a great weekend. The place met all our needs, was comfortable, very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Will stop again when we are next in the area.

Lovely place to stay, we were going to a concert so perfect for our overnight stay. The house is set over 3 floors and the stairs were steep. We slept in the attic room so had to climb 2 sets of stairs but the bed was so comfy it was worth the climb! We used a carpark which is literally 2 minutes walk away and cost £7.50 for 24hrs. The host was very friendly and answered quickly from my initial enquiry until we left…thank you x

Great place to stay right on Main Street close to restaurants and local groceries. The bakery cafe right opposite is amazing , little pricy though but good variety and tasty breakfast with options for every one. The house has everything we needed except for a coupe of bits and bolts that can be ignored. 3 families with kids we had a great stay and as per mentioned in listing. Worth a stay. Rosita is very helpful and proactive in responding and sharing all required information

Super stay and so convenient for the Peak District, friendly place and nice food and beer at the Norfolk Arms over the road. Very clean, and welcoming. Thoughtful things in the kitchen. I would love to stay again - it's a special building with wonderful history, and a friendly and welcoming vibe.

Great location with easy access to the city either via walking or nearby tram stop. Plenty of space for 5 people with clean and as stated amenities.

We loved our stay at Gill and Steve’s. It’s one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. My husband and I plus 8 of our friends stayed for two nights. We had so much fun!!! The outside space is perfect for dinners and drinks. The house is huge and has everything we needed. Gill and Steve are amazing hosts. Such good people and were so responsive and helped us to make a lovely weekend for our friends. Enough parking for all 5 couples to drive!! Will be back!! :)

Fiona was the perfect host, so friendly & understanding. The house is beautifully decorated, clean & inviting. The bedding was fresh & clean. The location is perfect for the park & Sheffield near by & the garden is so peaceful & private. Fiona was very accommodating & flexible. A beautiful well maintained cottage for two. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie popped in to introduce herself and deliver a bottle of wine, crisps and chocolate which was lovely as we only had a two night stay! We would certainly book again if we were in the area.

We enjoyed Lewis’ property immensely and felt totally relaxed and right at home from the moment we arrived. Lovely place from which to relax and explore the local towns, villages and countryside. Highly recommended.
