The only way one could possibly understand this is by existing in the same time and space as his vestibule and persona. Yuya crafted all the structures that surround the retreat as well as all that live within the creative home. His architecture expresses his personal story and his passion for creating such a unique world. There is an adventure in every corner you see with his house. It's not just enjoyably overwhelming, as it is excitement that tickles all your molecules. The only way to understand this banter is to reserve his Mauna Lani and experience artisan craftsmanship with fantastical sensation. True fantasy and comfort. We will mention, that the source of this wonderland Yuya (not Alice). His rich kindness and soothing vibes deliver a continuous flow of enlightenment. We befriended Yuya and his peers as we are moving to Hokkaido soon. We are honored to have discovered Yuya.

We had a fantastic stay here. This is a well thought out apartment. Fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean. Cooking is a breeze as the kitchen fully stocked with crockery. utensils, and new condiments. Close proximity to Shiretoko world heritage site. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

This is a beautiful, peaceful house on the edge of fields and forest in the heart of eastern Hokkaido. Ikue was a wonderful host, with helpful tips and information, and she provided a friendly welcome. The house contained everything I needed for a four-night stay, including a washing machine, and there were plenty of plates, cutlery and bedding. The location is good for the peninsulas along the east coast, including activities such as whale-watching and walking. The house is on the edge of a village with a few shops and two petrol stations, but there are bigger towns within 10-15 minutes’ drive, and Ikue has lots of recommendations for things to see and do. A huge hypermarket (TOBU South Hills) is about 15 minutes away. The house would perhaps suit a solo traveller or a couple. It can accommodate others but might feel cramped with more than two people. Overall it was a fantastic stay and I would heartily recommend the house.

What a well designed and homely handmade house! I'm immensely impressed by the sheer creativity and effort that Yuya put into this labour of love. Location is quiet and out of the way of public transport, so you will need to drive there. There are no amenities in the immediate area, however there are several towns within 10-20 minutes drive. Do note some of the towns are pretty small and quiet and not many places may be open despite what Google Maps may suggest. All in all, an unusual and great place to stay!

Super clean and new ! One of the cleanest Airbnb I have stayed ! Very well apppointed with all the amenities of a home. Host was super sweet , as the weather was turning cold , she pre heat the house for us. Will stay here again , if I’m visiting Shiretoko area

Miyu was the greatest host and honestly this was the best part of the entire trip. Would definitely go back again. Please take us hunting!
