Contemporary Light Filled Apartment Close to the City Centre

Walk home along the Union Canal and then kick back on the sofa after a day exploring Edinburgh. This bright flat boasts an open concept with a white palette enhanced with pops of bright colour. It benefits from underground parking. The apartment is situated in a modern development in Shandon to the west of the City Centre. Within the flat there is one bedroom with a king sized bed with high quality linens and plenty of wardrobe space. A spacious hall leads into a bright open plan living room/kitchen with a large sofa, coffee table, TV, and dining area. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The bathroom has a bath with overhead rainforest shower as well as a handheld shower head. Toiletries and towels are provided. Within the development there is a shared garden and underground parking where you will have one allocated parking space with key fob. There is also secure bike storage available. BT TV Wifi Underground Parking I will do my best to meet every guest on arrival but if this is not possible I have a key safe installed for flexibility. I live in Edinburgh with my girlfriend and therefore one of us will always be around should you need any assistance. The apartment is in Shandon, a residential district to the west of Edinburgh city centre. It’s next to Harrison Park and the Union Canal. There are good transport links to the centre and the airport. The bus stop is located a minute walk from the flat, from which there are regular buses to the city centre (10 mins) or to the airport (45 mins), if you are driving or getting a taxi to the airport then should only take around 20 mins depending on traffic. A taxi into town would take around 5-10 mins or it is a 30 minute walk.

Surrounded by plenty local amenities, The flat offers three different areas to sleep. It is furnished to an excellent standard and it is super clean, ideal for a family or friends. It has an ample double bedroom, a smaller camarote style box-bedroom with double bed and a comfortable double sofa-bed in the living area.

We would highly recommend staying here, Elizabeth was a very friendly host. The accommodation was perfect and we were able to park on street for free just opposite the entrance. Very easy to hop on the bus and get into the city centre, bus stops only minutes away from the accommodation. We will definitely be coming back again!

My wife and I were very satisfied by Allan’s place in Edinburgh and by his generous and friendly hospitality. We highly recommend staying here. We felt right at home! The neighbourhood is a beautiful and peaceful residential area and it’s only 30 minutes into the city centre with all the main attractions by bus or 15 minutes by car. The bus network in Edinburgh is also very good. They run on time and regularly. A single costs £2.20 or it is £5.50 for a bus day pass. There’s a Tesco Superstore 15 minutes walk from Allan’s apartment. If we return to Edinburgh again then we will stay with Allan.

I was looking for a few days in a home and I absolutely found that. Judy and her husband are warm and welcoming and the upstairs space is very sweet and comfortable. I especially liked the view of Arthur's Seat, the big bed, open windows, and thoughtfully stocked fridge. It is very easy to catch a bus to/from the Old Town but I also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and The Meadows. Thank you, Judy!

I really like Alan's kitchen, it's clean and tidy. I had a very pleasant stay for three days. The view outside the window is great. There is a bus stop in front of the house, which is very convenient. Alan is very enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage and pick us up.
