House holiday rentals in Sgourou

Not sure my review will do justice to how fantastic ‘My Green Eden’ and our hosts were. Maria was responsive and helpful from the get-go, making it easy to book for 14 of us. When we arrived we were welcomed by Maria’s father Michael who showed us round the property providing lots of helpful info! The property itself is stunning with amazing views, privacy and amenities. The outside area is particularly beautiful. The rooms are all furnished immaculately and we didn’t want for anything more! Our hosts really made it special, we came on Easter weekend which meant many shops were shut. Maria’s family so kindly went to the supermarket for us as we were arriving late, offered to drive us round if no taxis and even let us stay until our night time flight. They went above and beyond for us in every way. We would’ve been so happy with the villa but they made the weekend for us extra special - we cannot thank them enough! Couldn’t recommend this place more, would 100% stay again - thank you!

The host was very friendly giving us local recommendations for restaurants and beaches. The accommodation was in a perfect location in a quiet area between Faliraki beach (20 min drive) and Rhodes Old town (12 min), with easy access to the main road that takes you from Old Town to Faliraki then also to Lindos. There is also a small supermarket nearby, a 5 minute walk away. The host also helped us rent a car and with airport transport. Very polite and generous host! Would stay here again

From start to finish, the holiday we had in this villa was a great experience. Not only was the villa in beautiful condition on arrival, we also had a homemade cake ready for us as soon as we got there. Any queries we had were immediately met with great service and help from the owner, and the Villa matched the pictures to the tea. I’d like to personally thank Christina for the best holiday we could’ve ever hoped for, and wonderful memories made through every step of the experience. From abundance of facilities and leisure activities, I felt not only in awe of the property but a welcome guest. Would recommend this to anyone.

Wir hatten das große Glück, ein paar wundervolle Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen zu dürfen. Der Außenbereich ist einfach ein Traum – mit einem einladenden Pool, gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist super gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Auch im Inneren fehlt es an nichts. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet – es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Kommunikation: Der Kontakt war von Anfang an freundlich, herzlich und absolut zuverlässig. Fragen wurden innerhalb weniger Minuten beantwortet und wir haben gleich zu Beginn eine ausführliche Liste mit Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten erhalten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

The place was great and we had a fantastic time, but we weren't informed that someone else would be living in the same building directly above us. We had the first floor of the house, while another guest occupied the second and third floors, which felt a bit unexpected. It would’ve been helpful to know this in advance. Although each unit had its own separate entrance accessible only from outside it still felt a little unusual. That said the outdoor areas were excellent and the pool was really nice.

Such a beautiful villa within walking distance to the old town! It was roughly 20-30 minutes to walk into the old town (this was with a disabled guest who couldn’t walk too fast). Nearby, there are some mini markets and also a swedish bakery! There is also a bus stop just across the road to get to Lindos (massively recommend visiting). Michail was very kind, communicative, and a fabulous host! He helped us with a late check-out which saved us a huge amount of trouble! The villa is on a main road so the traffic can be very loud, even at night, but for us this wasn’t a dealbreaker. The kitchen is great and well equipped. The bathroom is a little unusual where both bathrooms are in the same room, just separated by a glass door. This was easily overcome by just agreeing to always use the furthest away shower so that people could still use the toilet in the first part of the room. Not really an issue - just to be aware! Overall, a BEAUTIFUL villa and I fully recommend to anyone!

Perfect verblijf. Rustige omgeving. Volledig uitgerust huis. Overal rolluiken aan de ramen. Wij verbleven een week en de handdoeken werden halverwege vervangen. Er zijn gewone badhanddoeken en ook handdoeken voor aan het zwembad of om mee te nemen naar het strand. Goede en proactieve communicatie. Kleine supermarkt en bakker in de buurt die praktisch altijd open zijn.

Big, clean place where several people can comfortably live, the pool and the terrace are ideal for relaxing in the evening. 15 minutes with car from the airport, roughly 20-30 minutes by car distance to several great beaches.

We were very happy with our stay! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped – we felt completely comfortable. The hosts were always available, responded quickly, and were very helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, a great stay – we would definitely come back!

Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation, with private and peaceful outside space. You would require a car, parking space provided, as good choice of shops, restaurants and beaches etc are a few kilometres away. Location is a perfect base for discovering the delights of the island. Charitomeni and Kyriakos are superb hosts, and are very approachable with any questions you may have, whilst at the same time being respectful of your privacy. I have no reservations about recommending this property.

We were greeted by Markos at the meeting point and enjoyed a small guided tour to the accommodation. It was a lovely way to start our experience. From then on we were able to enjoy everything that Old Town has to offer from the perfect base. Thank you Markos and Stavros

My partner and I had a wonderful time. Some food items were even prepared for us, and everything you need for a day at the beach was provided — including a sun umbrella, snorkeling gear, and more. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the accommodation. The host was very friendly, and we felt truly welcome.

We had a great time at the Smaragda apartment. It was clean, had all we needed and the hosts were so kind to leave some fresh food, like butter and bread, at the apartment. Great for getting through the first morning before we had time to get groceries. They communicated proactively and were always quick to respond. All in all we had a very good stay.

We loved our stay here. Across the road from the beach with great views. A short walk to restaurants and general stores and also walkable to the city if your up for it, otherwise 5 euro for a taxi. The home was spotlessly clean with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in Rhodes! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. 😃

Ed was a great host and was very very helpful with recommendations and with finding the property. The property is in a great location and is incredibly walkable. You are right in the heart of the old town and are only 30 minutes from rhodes airport and around a 15 minute walk from the beach.

Ein sehr freundlicher Vermieter, der stets auf Zufriedenheit seiner Gäste bedacht ist. Von einfacher Kommunikation über die Anreise bis zu Tipps für Restaurants war alles dabei. Alles perfekt !

Wir wussten nicht, ob wir ein Hotel oder ein AirBnB buchen möchten - bei Leonidas hatten wir das Beste von Beidem. Das Apartment ist optimal und uns hat es dort an nichts gefehlt. Es ist sehr sauber. Der Außenbereich ist wunderschön und verfügt auch über einen Grill und viele verschiedene Plätze zum entspannen. Wir haben jeden Abend gegrillt oder gekocht und konnten die gesamte Anlage nutzen. Leonidas macht zudem Morgens und Abends tolle Getränke und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Er hat uns zudem auch geholfen bei der Auswahl von Restaurants und unser Taxi bestellt. Das Zimmer wurde während des Aufenthalts einmal gereinigt. Für Rückfragen hatten wir immer einen Ansprechpartner. Wir werden Leonidas auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

It’s PERFECT 😍 even better than the photos. I travel the world and these hosts were the most welcoming and lovely I think I’ve ever had! The place is on an adorable street some of the cutest shops and restaurants in town. Everything you need is literally within 1 min walk. Best beach bars are 5 min walk. I’m a digital nomad and on video calls all day and the wifi was strong - no issues! It’s truly a little slice of heaven. 🫶🏻

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures—beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable, and we felt at home right away. The location was perfect: quiet at night yet just a short walking distance from the Rhodes Old City center. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, making our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended!

Despina ist sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam und jederzeit sehr gut erreichbar falls man Fragen hat. Durch die Nähe zum Flughafen ist die Anreise sehr angenehm und mit einem Mietwagen konnten wir von hier aus die ganze Insel super erkunden. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, ruhig und gut ausgestattet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und auch der Preis war definitiv gerechtfertigt. Kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, wir hatten eine super Zeit.

Es war alles ausgezeichnet: die Lage, die Unterkunft in Ästhetik, Qualität und Ausstattung! Und ganz besonders hervorragend war unser Gastgeber Manouil Alexios: sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, mehr als hilfsbereit, exakt in den umfassenden Infos, rasch und konzise in der Kommunikation - egal ob Restaurant-, Ausflugstipps oder Wegbeschreibungen. Es war einfach alles da! Auch hat er uns noch einen Transfer zum Flughafen organisiert. Unser Aufenthalt war ein ausserordentliches Erlebnis. Und Manouil Alexios ein fantastischer und umsichtiger Host!!! Gerne wieder. Danke für alles!

Mixalis is a wonderful host. Friendly, accommodating and very responsive to our questions. He organised pickup from the airport and drop off to the ferry terminal. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in Rhodes and would hope stay again if we get back. Thank Mixalis.

Ubytování nás velmi příjemně překvapilo. Umístění je v klidné části vil a okolí ubytování je blízko pěkných restaurací a obchůdku.Cele ubytování bylo krásně uklizené a skvěle připravené pro hosty(dostatek připravených ručníků ,víno,voda v lednici) Rozhodně doporučuji a věřím,že to nebyla naše jediná návštěva tohoto Airbnb.:))
