Family-friendly holiday rentals in Seoul

We had the best of times at this AirBnB! Every morning we had a different breakfast prepared by the host. Always delicious and satisfying. She was very gracious and extremely responsive despite there being a language barrier. The space itself was very tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Since each room had a door that leads directly to the courtyard, each room’s occupants were able to come and go without bothering each other. :) There’s a fun food market within walking distance. We got to try a lot of different foods! There’s a lot of cool places to travel to and explore; we highly recommend visiting the local palaces. If we ever get the chance to return to Korea, we would happily stay here again!

Yuna is a most wonderful host. Her immaculate attention to details and her warm personality in making our stay the best it could possibly be just made us felt at home throughout our stay. She had been a constant and attentive source of help and reference for us even though it goes far beyond her call of duty as a host. We want to thank her especially for going out of her way to arrange for a pickup of an item we left behind at a farm for a day trip, and her speedy responses and recommendations when we sought her help for booking rides for a big family and family attractions. Our place of stay was beautiful, very well maintained, clean and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. The location is extremely convenient, located right next to Coex and the Bongeunsa train station, with eateries and convenience stores available all around us. We highly recommend coming to stay with Yuna’s property whenever you decide to stay in Gangnam. Thomas n family of 6

The place was as Terry described it, I liked it and it was quite easy to get to, my family and I liked the place.

Helpful and accommodating host. The apartment was exactly as advertised and if there is anything you need, just let them know and they will make it happen. Great hosts and amazing staff support to fix things or gives rides!

It was a comfortable stay—very convenient in many ways as well. Yoony was really responsive and hospitable. The house also looked its name, Art House. I’d stay here again! It’s a bit of a hike to get here from the bus station so those with knee problems should keep that into consideration. The alley in front is narrow so sometimes taxi drivers want you to walk where they are. That said, I’m in my 60s and did fine!

I stayed at Do’s place with two friends for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The flat is beautifully decorated and welcoming; we enjoyed the view from the terrace during sunset and the peaceful surroundings. Right next to the flat there’s a lovely breakfast place called Sunday Arvo where we went almost every day. The location is great, walking distance to the bustling Itaewon and Hannam area where Leeum museum and a lot of cute shops and cafes are. We used the bus or Uber to get to other areas of the city. Thanks again for the great stay!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Luyi’s apartment. The location was very convenient and easily accessible to both the 9 and 2 subway lines as well as the COEX mall. The apartment was very spacious and clean with amazing views of the city. Both rooms were also very spacious and comfortable. The furniture, including the sofas, were also very comfortable as well. Luyi was also a very friendly, helpful and responsive host. He checked in on us frequently and was always very fast to respond to any requests or questions we had. We also accidentally left a package behind and he graciously helped ship the package to us back in the States. We enthusiastically recommend Luyi’s place for anyone staying in Seoul and have already recommended it our friends.

I had a wonderful stay at this place. The location is perfect and very close to the subway station (Line 4) and convenience stores, making it easy to get around. The place offers great privacy and top-notch facilities. The host is super approachable and responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommended!

Amazing apartment, we stayed for one week and loved it. The location is amazing, it's walkable to two subway stations on two lines for easy access to the city. Woojin was a helpful and responsive host, thanks to him we had no issues with our holiday and he was proactive to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. 10/10 would stay here again if we're back in Seoul.

We had a wonderful stay! I was surprised by the amenities, because it was our 6th apartment in South Korea during our trip, and this apartment had literally everything! Some people say this apartment is modest and is located in the old building, but this apartment is pristine clean and have more than is needed, so you feel like at home ✨ Just want to say we stayed at other places which are newer but horribly dirty with bugs, and didn’t have even simple amenities like soap, so for me cleanness was really important so I’m really glad I chose this apartment 🙌 The beds are comfortable 👌 The location is great, very close to the railway station, so we could just walk there foot. The host is super nice and kind 😊

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay in Heanu’s home! Our host went out of their way to check on us to make sure everything was going well. The home was clean and pictured as expected. We were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Like what other reviewers mentioned, there is a steep hill to get to the home, but you can take a detour on the next street for a slightly less steep hill!

The hosts are a charming couple, very friendly and very helpful. The place is located just in front of a children's playground, so it was super convenient for our children to play outside. Would absolutely recommend for families! Thank you again for having us!

I had an amazing stay at Yujin’s Airbnb! The place was spotless and cozy, and she thoughtfully provided essentials like toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower supplies—which was such a nice touch. The location is fantastic, with plenty to do in the area and excellent public transport options that made getting around super easy. It’s also really convenient if you have a flight from Gimpo Airport—just a short trip away. There are several convenience stores, cafés, and even a pharmacy nearby, which made our stay even more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Fefa Station is the nearest station.From Fefa Station, there is no up and down the road, so it is easy to understand and easy to get to the house.(You can also walk to Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, but it is a little further than Fefa Station, and there is a little up and down.) The bus stop called Dongdaemun General Market is about between Dongdaemun Station and Jongno 5-ga Station, so it is easy to understand how to get to and from the airport⇔ house. The house is clean and stylish as pictured.It is kept clean and pleasant. There is also a range, pots, dishes, silverware, pots, knives, etc., and dish soap. You can also use the washing machine, but please take your detergent with you. There is also a balcony where you can enjoy meals. The surrounding area is safe and very quiet. There is a Starbucks and CU (convenience store) between the area around Fefa Station to the house, making it convenient.There are also cafes, mochi shops, and bakeries. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom.Body soap and shampoo are also available.Bring your own toothbrush. The host will give you recommendations for nearby shops and send me a message how to use the room.They returned my questions right away and prepared what I asked for right away.Thank you for your kindness, polite, and quick to respond.

We had a fantastic stay with Sunny and Young! The house is just as charming and architecturally interesting as the description says - a beautifully renovated historic wooden house with both soul and style. The location is perfect, close to Seoul Station, Namsan Tower and local markets – easy to get to both sights and to experience the genuine, local life. The beds were comfortable – both the traditional Korean stone bed (surprisingly nice!) and the padded alternatives – and the house was sparkling clean, well-equipped and filled with beautiful lighting and personal details. We felt like at home right away. Sunny and Young were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I can highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to stay centrally, but still quietly and with a unique character!

The host is quick to respond to messages, problems can be solved right away, the host has a good attitude, the accommodation is very close to Hongdae subway, you can walk around and go back, there are also nearby fried chicken in Hashimura.

Wesley communicated well with us prior to our stay. His studio was clean and well located near Myeongdang Station (which was the meeting point for several of our pre-booked tours.) Wesley was very understanding when I experienced a phone connection problem on arrival at the airport and was exhasted and rather flustered after a long flight. He contacted me the next morning to ask if we had settled in. Thanks Wesley.

The location was perfect to commute with subway and bus stops right in front of the apartment. The place was good with all the amenities and the host is sooper responsive and very sweet. Best place to stay!

Fantastic Stay in Seoul – Highly Recommended! I had a wonderful stay in Seoul, and the apartment truly exceeded my expectations. It was well-maintained, and came equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need – from a fully stocked kitchen to fast Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. It really felt like a home away from home. The location was also excellent. It was close to public transport, cafes, shops, and close to some of the city’s top attractions. The neighborhood was peaceful, offering a perfect balance of convenience and relaxation. One thing to note: the hill leading up to the apartment is quite steep, which might be a challenge for some. However, there’s a much easier route through Dongguk University that makes the walk much more manageable – a great tip for future guests! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Seoul. I’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base in the city.

Very nice location with lots of walkable restaurants! Large fridge and nice bathroom, but it felt much smaller than the pictures. One of the rooms was so small and without an AC unit that we ended up not even using it. The apartment was also located up two flights of stairs which made it hard when transporting luggage. Owner was very nice and communicative and even let us stay a couple hours past check out. :)

A perfect place for 2 or even 4 . Very accessible . The owner and very responsive and attentive we asked him several times and replied very quickly , the neighborhood is very quiet and all around you have restaurants and bar plus coffee it's great plus metro and bus in direct proximity. we highly recommend it for the Gangnam area. And a big thank you to the whole Tingmin Family 🥰

We had a wonderful stay here! Jason is a very responsive host and was very helpful with luggage storage after an early flight arrival time! Much appreciated! The apartment was clean and in a great location to bus stops, and subway stations. Would stay here again!!
