Thanks for a great stay! Everything was exactly as described – the accommodation was super clean and very well equipped, it really lacked nothing. We felt at home from the first moment. The house was just as described. The location great to us. In the morning, only the birds could be heard. At breakfast and dinner, we always had a visit from 3 blackbirds and two rabbits who were on the lawn. We were able to take beautiful bike tours. With our dog, it was only a few steps through the gate in the garden into the forest. We also liked the walks around the small lake. What was there to complain about? An open description for the TV might have been helpful. Maybe it was also in the drawer in the kitchen, where we also found the description for the oven. We needed them because the setting symbols on the rotary knob are printed very small on the side edge and you can't see them when you're standing in front of the oven. But the manufacturer's designer screwed that up. All in all, we have a quiet, beautiful vacation. It might have been too quiet for our children with the grandchildren

Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

We highly recommend a stay at Annelene's, the apartment was great with everything you need, lovely surroundings with animals and a wonderful garden. You feel really welcome, as I said, we are happy to recommend the place and we would love to come back if there is an opportunity for an apartment on the ground floor

Very pleasant in a beautiful environment

The beautiful old Benke house has an incredible charm and is richly, practically and comfortably furnished. The garden is idyllic and the quiet green surroundings invite you to take beautiful walks. The bus from Recklinghausen stops right in front of the property (but we didn't hear anything from the street). The contact with Benjamin was straightforward and warm. He answered all questions promptly and is very helpful. Our children also felt very comfortable. We didn't miss anything at our family reunion and we'd love to come back any time. Highly recommended!!

Great, central place with good connections and good communication with the host

We felt super comfortable in this beautiful, perfectly equipped apartment. The forest next door and at the same time the church square next door are perfectly within walking distance. Nele is very nice and gives helpful hints. We will be happy to come back!

We spent 3 nights in the flat and had a really good time. The flat is very spacious and well equipped. It is very clean and has lots of special attentions (especially the toys for young kids and the swimming pool was really great to have). There are also large playgrounds area just in front of the door step which is great for the kids. Some hikes in the bad Essen region are also in the nearby. Within 5-10 min walk you will be in the center of Bad Essen which is surprisingly well equipped with lots of restaurants. Sabine was a great reactive host, always willing to help. Just note that if you intend to sleep in the living room sofa, you would need to bring some night mask as the curtains are quite light. But nothing to worry about and clearly we would recommend the place 👍

Irina's apartment was a beautiful place to stay and the just around the corner dig friendly restaurant with a lake view was just what we needed after a long journey from the UK. Thank you for accommodating even our little dog and cat Irina, we'll definitely come back on our way home!

We had a pleasant stay. The host was welcoming and responsive. The house is spacious, and my children really enjoyed the large pool. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a very nice and quiet time at Silke's. Everything was as shown in the photos, the check in and out was easy and clear. Unfortunately, at the time, the dishwasher and one of the shutters did not work, which was really annoying (unfortunately, we had no information about this beforehand) and was a bit annoying when living there for two weeks. However, Seiler immediately took care of it, which was very positive. All in all, however, a very nice and great stay.

We were in Uwe's apartment as a family with 2 children. Everything was as described and as shown in the pictures. The apartment is very nicely decorated and very spacious. Since we like to have it dark to sleep, we were happy to be able to completely darken the rooms with the shutters. Another plus is the dishwasher. Uwe was an uncomplicated, flexible and very nice host. The location was also great for our purposes. Baker and supermarket are within walking distance and directly opposite is a cute park with climbing frame for the children. We will be happy to come back.
