House holiday rentals in Selkirk

We had a fantastic weekend staying here to celebrate my best friend. The house is gorgeous with so much space! The photos do not do it justice! There was a lovely pool and hot tub. Sarah came by to make sure we’d settled in and was available if we needed anything. We’d even got a later check out which was a great bonus. Everyone had a great time! I will definitely recommend booking The Granary! I would love to come back for another trip. Sarah had also left us a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us which was a lovely touch we appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Wohnwagen ist überraschend geräumig und die Lage ist einfach toll. Das Meer ist nur durch eine Straße von der Unterkunft getrennt. Wenn Ebbe ist, kann man gemütlich am Strand entlang spazieren. Mit dem Bus, der nicht weit von der Unterkunft entfernt ist, fährt man bequem nach Edinburgh. Die Lage ist ruhig, und einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt es in der Anlage auch. Die Ausstattung des Wohnwagens ist super! Wir waren zu viert dort (4 Erwachsene) und haben nichts vermisst. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!!!

amazing stay! caravan was perfect and had everything I needed, plus more. Was clean and very well looked after Site was lovely and well maintained. . . only cooked, didn't eat out, but the restaurant on site had some delicious smells coming from it. wonderful walks from door step, with some fantastic places only a short drive away. highly recommend staying here

Scots place was beautiful. Lots to do inside and outside. Kids had lot of fun as there were toys scooter and bike. There was colouring books and pens card games kids did not get enough time as we only booked for one night. Scott was kind and he extended our check out. Kids made the most out of it. Not far away from Edinburgh castle which was our holiday plans to explore Edinburgh city. Clean kitchen and toilet and shower. We had everything we needed in the caravan. Thanks Scott for making the one night stay comfortable. You are a star

Another great stay at Mary's wonderful accommodation! I cannot rate it highly enough and will be returning again in the near future!

Myself and 6 friends had the most wonderful stay at Eleanor's. We were just absolutely over the moon upon arrival, the cottage itself was over and above expectations, being very spacious yet cozy with impressively well stocked kitchen utensils, clean crisp and comfy bedding, plenty of lovely light and well working showers and loos. The location itself was just magical being slightly tucked away outside the village with access to many lovely wee walks as well as great local pubs and a lovely coffee shop in Hawick just down the road. An incredible wee place especially when you consider the price. We really do hope to visit again in future.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our toddler especially loved exploring outside and had a great time running around the old Kirk next door. A lovely, peaceful spot—we’d definitely stay again!

The view from the bedroom was lovely and peaceful. This adorable space was perfect for what I needed, and Tracey was wonderful in her clear descriptions of how to find it, how to get in, even how to change the heat & run the shower. Easy but not very obvious - but with her messages & on-site printed descriptions everything WAS easy! Also the towels were luxuriously thick and warm, the bed was comfy, oh and lots of local travel info in the living room. Would absolutely stay there again!

Second time staying at this beautiful cottage and hopefully not our last. Such a nice location, John and Marion are great hosts. The cottage is spotless and has lots of nice touches. Would highly recommend.

Great place for mountain bikers, very warm and nicely furnished place with outside lockable bike store.

Fabulous place no expense spared in the accommodation. Could not say a negative word about it . French restaurant and the Indian restaurant were excellent . Great place for exploring other surrounding areas . Corbridge is really worth a visit too and only a few miles away .

Spent 5 nights in this lovely cottage. The property was well equiped and very clean. The location was quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cockenzie.

A spacious, comfortable and well located holiday home, right in the centre of Melrose but in a peaceful setting, surrounded by a well maintained garden and lovely views of the hills. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds wide and comfortable. The house is light thanks to all the windows, with quality thick blackout curtains - makes for a very peaceful night’s sleep. The separate utility room was handy for storage and hanging up washing. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wir wurnde mit einem Blumenstrauß, Pralinen und Kaffee liebevoll empfangen und haben uns in der Unterkunft sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Wohnzimmer hat mit de Morgensonne zum Tee eingeladen. In der super ausgestatteten Küche haben wir viel gekocht und sind am großen Esstisch lange gemeinsam verweilt. Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr komfortabel und mit den zwei Bädern und drei Toiletten war es ein Traum . Vom Haus ist man zu Fuß schnell sowohl in der Natur als auch in der Stadt. Ein Aufenthalt ohne Auto ist gut möglich. Melrose bietet gute Einkaufmöglichkeiten, neben etlichen netten Cafés und Restaurants. Wir haben etliche Wanderungen mit und ohne Auto unternommen und Melrose war hierfür der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne und besondere Zeit, die wir in diesem Haus verbringen konnten.

We had a lovely stay at Hall Yard Cottage, the location was in a lovely village, friendly neighbours and great walks on the doorstep. The hosts left some welcome goodies which were much appreciated. The only feedback we have is that it wasn’t mentioned where we could park in the information pack until one of the neighbours told us. The cottage was very clean, dog friendly and we will definitely return.

Melissa’s flat has been put together with so much thought, it is stylish, cosy, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to be walkable for all the main sites in Edinburgh and has lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby (and Melissa provided a guidebook to help find the best spots). Melissa was incredibly accommodating and even arranged an infant cot for us. Would absolutely stay again!

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

We stayed here for 6 days and had a lovely time. The area was very tranquil with beautiful views. The place was beautifully clean with lovely rooms, it was spacious and had everything we needed. I can highly recommend this stunning property.

The caravan is situated in a quiet cul de sac with lovely views. The caravan park in general was lovely and very well laid out. We visited the nearby town of Jedburgh using the No.68 bus which stops outside the entrance to the caravan park. I would definitely recommend staying at this caravan park and using Helen's caravan.
