Well-equipped house, great location for trips in Rondane Park. A bit of a disturbance is the night traffic of a nearby railway line. Julie Marie was always available, communication was great. thank you so much!

We had a very cozy stay!

We (2 adults, 1 child (10 yrs) and our dog) were lucky enough to be the first guests in the house "the Hideaway" after Erik had just completely renovated it. The house is modern and equipped with everything you need, while renovating the charm and therefore the coziness. Nothing is really missing! We felt right at home and enjoyed the evenings by the fireplace (at -20 degrees outside). We even saw the northern lights:-) The house is situated on a private road where only the other two houses of Erik are left. It is completely quiet there and yet Otta with its shops can be reached in 10-15 minutes. Just as quickly you get to the beautiful national park. Communication with Erik before, during and after our stay was great. He was always easily accessible, told us a lot about Otta and the area and gave us great tips on what to do there. It was just perfect and we will be back!

Beautiful and spacious home! Lovely view of the hillside. House is really cozy and lots of space. Very quiet and peaceful. So close to town yet we felt like we were in a remote spot! Definitely recommend. Borgy was so helpful- she alerted us to a road closure due to flooding the morning we were leaving for the airport- super helpful.

Friendly welcome, helpful but not intrusive. There was clean bedding and towels included in the price and even a basket with chocolate and crisps, coffee, tea, pasta and sauce etc!!

Have enjoyed Elisabeth's house this Easter weekend. Cozy place with very nice and helpful hostess. We want to be able to rent it in the future as well.

Annet is very friendly.Very patiently helped us register and use the camp's charging equipment.There is a small river next to the house, and the view from the window is very pleasant.This is our first time staying at a Norwegian camp, and the experience is very good.

We had a great time at the cabin! We spent our time by exploring the snow covered mountains and going to the sauna afterwards. Everything was very cozy and we felt very comfortable here. We would love to come again sometime:-)

Chalet in misty mountains, excelent place for adventure!

We had the most amazing time in Jan's & Siri's cabin. The view is absolutely stunning! The cabin is water side and has an unobstructed view of Rondane National Park. You can hike, go on the lake with a boat or do a bike tour. The outdoor options are endless. The cabin itself is freshly renovated to a very high standard. Everything is looks cozy and old, but is brand new. You have floor heating in the bathroom and the small living room. The windows, the floor, the walls, the room, everything is brand new or meticulously renovated. The two living rooms allow you to get some distance from your friends, if you need it, and the couches are cozy enough to take a quick nap… I tried. The Wi-Fi is fast, and you have 5G everywhere, so you can always make your friends jealous on social media. There is a small shop nearby that bakes its own bread and carries the basics. We had the most wonderful time and will certainly be back. Thank you so much for having us!

The cabin is really very cozy, a good place to disconnect from everyday life. The best is the fireplace with wood as much as you want to take. Water has been provided enough in canisters. Only the outdoor toilet is just for people who can really live easily... I felt very comfortable with my dogs. The directions were a bit confusing but Kari took me to the cabin herself. Thanks Kari!

Great homey cabin with amazing surroundings. The cabin is located right next to the "portal" into Rondane National Park. Out of the living room window you can glow out towards massive mountains on the horizon and a trickling stream that snakes down and past the cabin. We were here in the transition August/ September when it is starting to fall in the mountains, and it was like being in a national romantic painting. All in all, a great trip where we had good communication with the host if there should be anything we were wondering about. I recommend going here.

We had a lot of fun on a small winter holiday at this cabin. Then it is easy to drive up to the cabin on Kvamsfjellet. The cabin was warm and warm even when it minus 20 degrees outdoors. There was access to piles of ski slopes right out of the cabin. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the yard. The cabin holds good condition, is well-maintained and is well equipped in the kitchen. The view was lovely towards Rondane National Park! Can really recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a real Norwegian cabin experience!
