What a jewel! The place was so peaceful and still within a vibrant area. I visited Hamburg for a concert in Knust and Stefan’s place was just around the corner. The perfect combination of a historic building and the vibrant and colourful area ist just perfect! The place was so unique and modernly renovated. Stefan was very helpful and very easy to communicate with! I had a brilliant time! Thank you Stefan! I will definitely come back!

Very nice stay! Nathalie and Sven welcomed us very well (thank you again for the gifts!) The accommodation was clean, tidy and very well decorated. The place is very quiet and invites relaxation. Lots of possible walks around the area. Our 4-year-old daughter really enjoyed the many toys that were available to her in the living room. We highly recommend this location if you want to visit the area!

Had a great stay at Tilman’s place. The apartment was super clean, had a beautiful view, and everything was just as expected—or better. Communication with Tilman was easy and quick, which made check-in and check-out totally smooth. Even though we were only there for one night, it was super comfortable and well set up. Had a great stay at Annika's place. For the children, there was everything you could need. Annika even provided us with a playpen, which was very convenient when packing and unpacking. The apartment is bright and very spacious and the welcome cake was great.

Great place to stay in the countryside! We visited Hamburg for 3 nights - the former waterworks is an original accommodation directly on the banks of the Elbe (even if you can only see the Elbe from the extreme corner of the window...). The building makes a freshly renovated impression, it's all tip-top. Although you are not far from the center of Hamburg, you will find yourself absolutely in the countryside, in a quiet environment. And the center of Blankenese is within walking distance, with shops, cafes, bars and S-Bahn. We were very pleased!

We were very satisfied with the apartment. You have privacy, you really don't hear anything from the many neighbors and there is enough space despite the fact that it is only one room. The balcony is perfect for admiring the sunrise directly over the sea. And the surroundings are really beautiful! What we didn't know before: There is no oven, no freezer and no way to ventilate. The only window is basically the door to the balcony, which doesn't provide much cooling in the room. Air conditioning would be a dream. At the end of May, however, it was still bearable for us. Overall, a great relaxing holiday and definitely a recommendable apartment on the Baltic Sea!

We immediately felt very comfortable with Simone and Thomas. The place has a wonderful, quiet and simply beautiful location. There were many helpful tips that made our stay easy and enriched us. I have rarely experienced such a hassle-free and simply relaxed place,which was also perfect! and sparkling clean! There was really nothing missing and communication was great too. My husband and I spent the vacation together with our 2 year old son in the apartment and were very enthusiastic. The check-in was very straightforward. The apartment is very well equipped and clean. It is clear that the house and garden are being taken care of intensively. The apartment is in a quiet location two side streets from the beach promenade. We agree with previous vacationers on the points of criticism. We also believe that a towel/linen package should be included in the price. The light of the WLAN router in the bedroom is really extremely bright. In addition, the pillows were far too voluminous. The three points are high-level complaints. We would book the apartment again without hesitation and always recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Anja and Max's and enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The children were particularly enthusiastic - the many great toys inside and outside provided a lot of fun and variety. We adults also got our money's worth: the cozy sauna was a real highlight and contributed to the perfect relaxation. The apartment itself is very lovingly furnished, nothing is missing - really everything your heart desires. You feel completely comfortable from the first moment. It was our second stay at Quartierfreund, and we were completely satisfied again. The apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped. Especially the sauna and the bathtub were real highlights. Everything was clean, and the sea view from the balcony was simply fantastic. We had nothing to complain about and can only recommend the accommodation!
