Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sées

We spent an enjoyable week at Martine’s gites. We are a family of 5 - me and my husband, an almost 16 year old son and 2 daughters aged 13 and almost 11. The ‘children’ loved the outdoor space - the hot tub, the animals, the swing ball and the space to explore. We were slightly disappointed that the outdoor pool wouldn’t be open until May (we knew this when booking) but were delighted with the covered, large hot tub. We made use of the bikes that Martine has and cycled into St Pierre for the market - which was there in William the Conquerer’s time. The roads were quiet and the scenery was beautiful. The kids said it was one of their favourite days. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept soundly. The rooms are decorated nicely and pleasant. The kitchen had everything that we needed. While 2 of the bedrooms had tvs in, there is no specific lounge room. This wasn’t a problem for us - we spent our evenings around the dining table playing board games - more fun than tv!

Claude's place is of high quality and will certainly live up to your expectations. Note: the accommodation is very well acoustically insulated as long as we close the door but hey it makes sense The small cats on the property will delight you under the Normandy sun.

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful estate. Martine and her husband are very welcoming and make sure you have a great stay. The unlimited hot tub and pool are a real plus! Thanks to them.

We had a fabulous time. The house is beautiful: spacious, stylish, clean, and well equipped (including a well stocked kitchen). The outside space is fantastic too - a private patio to eat and relax, with the friendly noises of the chickens in the background and just a few metres from the beautiful pool. We all loved the pool - especially our five-year-old. It is large enough to swim properly and the cover means we could comfortably use it on cooler days. The surrounding area is well located to visit a range of local towns. Martine was lovely: helpful and always available when needed, but we also felt we have the privacy and space to relax into our holiday home. A fantastic holiday. Thank you, Martine.

We had a very pleasant week with the family Patrick is a very welcoming host. The area is rich in very pretty Norman villages. Beautiful activities are accessible by car.

Only superlatives! Probably one of the best homes visited. The setting is magnificent, the mansion as well, with its beautiful living rooms combining authenticity and comfort. The bedding is of high quality, extremely comfortable, and the equipment is top notch. Carole is very welcoming and gives good advice. And very thoughtful! The heating turned on for our infant was very nice. Thank you again for your hospitality and this excellent stay!

Aurélie's house was a real nice surprise, even better than in the photos! Very clean, tastefully decorated, perfectly equipped, beautiful bathroom, large bedrooms, lots of storage. We immediately felt good there, like at home. The setting is magnificent, in the heart of the Normandy family farm with chickens, ducks... a real breath of fresh air. Aurélie's parents are adorable, very welcoming, just like her: discreet, available, very kind. The calm and serenity of the place are a real plus, as is the enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing in peace (ideal with a child or a dog). Everything is designed for travelers' comfort. We had a perfect stay. I recommend this little corner of paradise with my eyes closed, and I won't hesitate for a second to come back with family or friends! Thank you again for your warm welcome!

We had a wonderful stay at Sophie's, who was very welcoming. This house is idyllic if you are looking for peace and quiet. The children enjoyed the garden, swing, badminton and ping pong available. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding!

Anne is a great host and we really enjoyed our stay in the very rustic and beautiful property. The surrounding countryside is idyllic and we enjoyed our forest walks. The garden is fully fenced off which was a bonus for our dog Reggie! The ‘old grocery store’ is highly recommended!

What a lovely place in a beautiful area. We have enjoyed, made nice trips, castle, farmers market, flea market, delicious food. Chilled in the nature pond and enjoyed the rooster crow! Sylvie and Peter are treasures. We were allowed to admire Sylvie's beautiful scarves in her studio. We hope to come back again.

What a wonderful stay! The house is ideal for a family stay, activities for everyone. Our 5 and 10 year old daughters had a great time with the trampoline, the slide, the swing and of course the games room and the pool. The older ones enjoyed the tranquility of the park and the canoe rides on the river at the bottom of the garden. Camille and Mélaine are very welcoming and responsive hosts. 100% Recommendation

We had such a fantastic time. The facilities were great - the pool in particular was a hit and some lovely finishing touches including gas for the BBQ and a great coffee machine. The beds were super comfortable. It's a great place to come for some rest and relaxation as it's very peaceful and secluded. A big thank you to our hosts who were very helpful and welcoming.

Very nice welcome by Delphine. The cottage is very clean, pleasant and in a peaceful environment. The pool is a real plus for travelers and it is not shared with other people. You feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The advice on visits and restaurants is very good. One downside is the privacy, the different rooms of the cottage have no sound insulation so all the noises in the house can be heard.

Great weekend spent at Karyn's cottage. Very welcoming, responsive and accommodating host. The place and location was great to spend a friendly time with friends without being afraid to make noise and at the same time away from the inconveniences of the city.

The house is beautifully decorated, nice, we felt right at home. Great communication with Jean-Paul. We'll be back!

The only small downside is the road not far from the house that disturbs the peace a little. Beautiful old house in the pretty countryside of Perche.
