Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Seeland District

We loved this place so much! Beautiful house (perfect size for 2 people) and garden. The surrounding area is just wonderful! It gets very quiet at times and very dark at night, it took me personally 1-2 days to adjust. Getting there was a bit difficult since we had to rely on public transport. We took the funicular up to Macolin and then used a taxi service based in Biel to take us to the house (80 CHF). From Macolin we think it is most advisable to take the road / path called "Prés de Macolin Derrière". If you were to walk it would probably take you 1h+. The hosts were very responsive which was greatly appreciated.

Christine's house is a real haven of peace, with a beautiful garden where the children were able to play while the adults enjoyed themselves. Close to shops (Coop, bakery) as well as trains and boats, this house was very convenient and well located. 15-20 minutes from the beach on foot (with children). The beds were of good quality and there was everything you needed for a pleasant stay. I recommend this warm and comfortable place.

Carole's cottage is wonderfully located in the countryside, we relaxed wonderfully in the quiet area. The amenities are top notch, it has everything you need.

A wonderful place to stay, with very modern kitchen and facilities. The house was spotless and very well kept. Bernard was always responsive and helpful.

We were allowed to spend a week vacation in the beautiful, large and very cozy wooden house. We didn't miss anything. The house is very lovingly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. The surrounding nature with the many animals is spectacular and you can start hiking and exploring directly. Our hosts are very accommodating and likeable! We will be happy to come back :-))

We enjoyed the time at Céline very much. The house is very nice and the surroundings are good for day trips. The seaside resort in Erlach is highly recommended.

This is a really unique house. Everything you could need is provided and the place was very clean. It was cold outside, but the house was very comfortable throughout with its heated floors. Don't hesitate to pick this house if it's available.

We enjoyed the quaint, cozy chalet very much. The garden is amazing! We were allowed to help ourselves to the fresh fruit in the garden. When we needed support, Benny helped us immediately. There was only one small downside. The sofa bed was made up for us in the living room. It took a little getting used to and the sleeping comfort was not particularly good. We would prefer a real bed. All in all, however, a top place to stay.

Very big beautiful and cozy flat in Magglingen. Amazing view over Biel and the mountains from most of the rooms. We love it and will be back.

We enjoyed it very much. It was very quiet and we had privacy. The bed was very comfortable. The oven and hot tub have all rounded off. As an addition, a small mini oven or the like would have been good. Otherwise very cozy and simple. 👍

I loved the house. I was on a long stay and initially teleworking, so the space was wonderful, small but with all the necessary communities. A fantastic bathroom and a super-equipped kitchen. I felt very much at home and the surroundings are beautiful. Just 15 minutes from downtown.

Kitchen facilities rather spartan.

We were warmly welcomed on the day of arrival, provided with all the important information, and recommendations for hikes and activities were included. We could use the beautiful garden at any time and our dog also enjoyed it very much as he was allowed to run free here. Every encounter with Sophie and Olivier was warm and appreciative. We felt completely comfortable.

We felt very comfortable with Rudolf. There was nothing missing. He even offered to heat us by the oven. There was a welcome drink and a very friendly introduction to the apartment. Although we arrived quite late in the evening it was not a problem for him. A great person and great host. I'd love to come back:-)

My family and I were very well received by Mr. Hannes , a wonderful and friendly person always available to help , his home very clean and welcoming with everything we need! Wow! What a beautiful place to stay - we’re already missing the views! There is lots to see and visit in the surrounding areas and it’s 10 minutes from the motorway if you’re looking to travel further afield. Susanne was a brilliant host, very attentive, extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We would love to come back!

Such a beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. For those who wish to experience the Swiss country side and yet be fairly close enough to cover all the main attractions of the region, look no further. Stayed 5 nights with my family with 2 kids, and everyday was memorable. The house layout is made for the view, and it’s simply unforgettable.. all the basics are in place and more, no complaints there whatsoever.. in fact one would be pleasantly surprised coming here, for the photos just cannot do justice to what one feels here.. keywords: spacious, comfortable, magical, and beautiful. the hosts and manager were wonderful too.. always ready to help with whatever u need may it be home related or otherwise.. thank you for the amazing experience.. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to come back to a serene Swiss paradise at the end of a long day of travel, tourists, and attractions..

We enjoyed the stay even though the weather was not so consistent. You also felt comfortable with storm and rain, not least because of the cheminee. Very helpful hosts, that was especially evident in the first help with a small fire injury.

Our stay was wonderful. Nicole is an excellent host and the house was super clean and comfortable. i will definitely recommend it and looking forward to stay there.

We spent the Easter days as a family, 7 adults, at the Retreat Lodge Schürmatt. From the beginning, we were thrilled with the decor, the location, the amenities. Everything, really everything, was there. Every day we cooked together and all accessories were available and in very good condition. The view of the Swiss Alps, at different times of the day and weather, is beautiful. The circling, calling Milane in the air a fascinating spectacle for Aug and Ear. The garden invites you to linger and enjoy. Whether sun or shade spot, there is a nice place for everyone with the right garden furniture. Also in the house, everyone (s) will find a favorite place to feel good, rest, read, play, enjoy. We all enjoyed it very much. We will be happy to come back. Thanks, Vinzenz!

“Amazing stay! Highly recommend!” Me and my friends had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb. Jonalyn is incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was always very helpful and available all the time. She responded immediately. The property was exactly as described— very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and Jonalyn provided towels & sheets for everybody. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped with all facilities you can imagine - better than my kitchen at home. The giant whirlpool was an absolute highlight together with the chimney. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
