Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sechelt

We booked this place for a girl's weekend (and a local trail marathon) and were delighted with the house! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room, EPIC patio with outdoor dining table and a clean, functioning hot tub overlooking the ocean. What more could you want? The place was quiet, a short drive away from town, and the hosts were friendly and responsive during the booking and check in process. Highly recommend!

Great place with very nice host. the hous is clean, well furnished and beautiful. the hosts are super helpful, communicate well and overall great. we loved the beachside location with the beautiful view. I would recommend to anyone!

We loved staying at Michelle’s place. It was very clean and relaxing and the place had all amenities as described. The hot tub was a special bonus after hiking and water sports. Michelle is very responsive and friendly. We would definitely book again!

Wow, words cannot even describe the beauty of this place. We had such an amazing time and are thinking of coming back annually. Katy and Dave are lovely hosts who are nearby and very responsive. They kept the hot tub hot!! They sure have a slice of heaven on Earth 💗 thank you both so much

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

Brittany's house is the most loveliest, peaceful, stunning airbnb! Our little 5 day trip had us all zen like relaxed, the deck is where we all hung out and made memories. The garden is so beautiful. The kitchen is the most stocked welcoming easy to use kitchen. This place needs 10- stars, the bedrooms, bathrooms, garden, deck, views easy check in made this trip the best! We can't wait to come back. Thank you Brittany and Tim for sharing your lovely home.

Really nice area, my wife and I used it as a honeymoon spot. Even with other houses fairly close around, it still feels like you quite alone! The place is clearly designed to be a couples getaway spot, with the two shower heads, two person soaker tub and so on. There are some pretty decent restaurants about a 15 minute dive too. Bree was on top of things too, sent a message less than an hour after we arrived welcoming us and letting us know if we needed anything to message her. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay!

The location was quiet and felt nice and private. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a great deck to enjoy it on. The kitchen is big and well stocked. We had a great time

Sharon was an absolute amazing host! She had everything clearly labeled in her house from the recycling to where to find remotes and things, etc. Anytime I had a question she answered me within a matter of minutes. Absolutely gorgeous home! Walkable to anything you would need to do on the island. Very quiet, peaceful, gorgeous weather. Slightly rainy on one of the days and beautiful and sunny on the other days. Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

Raquel’s place is top notch - everything is exactly as described or better. Have rarely stayed at a better stocked Airbnb in terms of kitchen appliances, essentials, etc. The location is perfect for exploring Gibsons (5 min drive from everything). The farm itself is an amazing, peaceful slice of paradise, and last but not least, Raquel is an awesome host, sharing her deep local and farm knowledge and making sure you have a great stay on the Coast!

The host was extremely responsive! She was quick to respond to our requests and any problems that we had, and the venue is nice and private. 10/10, would stay again!

I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

Surrounded by the raw beauty of the wilderness, we felt completely reconnected with nature. Highly recommend for anyone craving a refreshing and soulful getaway!

This was the perfect spot for me and my family to stay for a few days away in the new year. We were a full house of 5 and a dog but there was enough space, a lot of unique and wonderful amenities that made it extra special ( like the bathtub and sauna!) and it was a beautiful house. Clean and modern mixed with a cabin feel. We all loved it. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and it was the perfect place for us to unwind as a family after Christmas!

What a great space! Joanne’s place is very large, with ample room for five or six adults. The kitchen was awesome, complete with an air fryer and instant pot plus many other things you don’t typically find in an Airbnb kitchen! The furniture is also very comfortable, especially the couches. It felt like we walked into our own house, except it’s in the woods by the Parksville resorts and a five minute walk from a sandy beach! What a steal! We can’t wait to be back.

Our party included 4 adults and two children. We stayed in the house for four nights. This is something which we do every summer, staying in different houses near Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We were happy with our rental this year (2024). We liked the fact that this complex includes a swimming pool. We also spent a lot of time at the beach. (We used the beach folding chairs which are available in the unit.) We also walked in the adjacent Rathtrevor Provincial Park. We also drove to some stores in town. The kitchen is well equipped. We used the BBQ for three of the dinners. It was useful that one of the bedrooms includes a desk. Sandy communicated with us (via the AirBnB app) several times. We had a great vacation. I should also mention that after we checked out we discovered that my granddaughter left a certain item behind. Sandy assured me that it will be mailed to us. Thank you!

Nicole's place is amazing, great communication and everything is as she described. she was super helpful with anything we needed! The yard is quiet and private. there is a shared pool and hot tub not to mention mini golf was so much fun. I will definitely be staying again if given the chance.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Starfish Cottage. The house itself was so clean and inviting, as soon as we entered we felt comfortable and at home. The location is great, we took full advantage of the swimming pool and mini golf. We went to the Black Goose Inn (charming English-like pub) twice while we were there as it was just down the road. Super easy drive into Parksville which had everything we could possibly need. My daughter had her 4th birthday here, and really enjoyed herself. We all talked about how much we want to come back again, and we certainly intend to!

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, I hope we will get a chance to enjoy your hospitality again, it made for such an enjoyable trip! Thank you so much!

Donald was a very good host to work with. We were happy with the condo, it was spacious and had what we needed to enjoy a great time. So nice to have the pack and play for our baby. The upper and lower floors were so nice to give privacy when traveling with multi family. The grounds were beautiful and the heated pool and hot tub were really nice. A short walk to access Rathtrevor Beach, which is awesome We would book again next time we come!

We had a great stay! Grandkids swam in the pool most every evening, and it was great to have the beach so close! Accommodations were very clean, comfortable beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils needed for preparing meals and grilling. The grands loved discovering the box of toys too!

The cottage was great for our family of 5! Equipped with beach towels, toys, and even a mini cooler - this makes beach going easy. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beds and sofa beds were all comfy! Thanks so much for a great stay!
