Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The Hirschbaude is located in Saxon Switzerland, directly in the Kirnitzschtal. You will spend the night in a small hut in the middle of the wildly romantic hillside garden. After your excursions, enjoy the magical evening atmosphere with a campfire or barbecue or warm up in front of the fireplace on cold. Important: There are two (very lovely) free-roaming dogs Ronja+Mary Rose, 2 cats, rabbits and ducks. The accommodation and access isnot barrier-free. A tourist tax must be paid upon arrival.

The apartment is ideal for hikers, climbers, cyclists, motorcyclists and families. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a quiet, beautiful vacation. Around the house is a large garden with access to the stream. For children, a large trampoline and swings are available. Our house is located in the middle of the forest in a secluded location. You can reach all the sights by public transport or can reach Bad Schandau by Kirnitzschtalbahn. Plus tourist tax.

Wooden hut right on the edge of the forest

Our old small hay storage can be used as a shelter and is equipped with 2 camp beds and air mattresses for 2 adults or 1 adult with 2 kids, but they are only 190 cm long. The hut is right on the edge of the forest to Saxon Switzerland and you can stay here close to nature. A bathroom in the main house will be provided. In front of the cabin you can sit comfortably outside and enjoy nature. Ideal for hikers of the Malerweg. plus tourist tax!

Place was very clean and is well located to reach hiking trips in the surrounding area. Some restaurants are less than 10 minutes walking distance on the Czech side. In the German side you can also find a few more restaurants within more or less 30 minutes walking distance.

We felt super comfortable. The apartment is small and cozy and quiet. The view from the balcony is really beautiful. We also had everything we needed in terms of equipment. In the bedroom, there are no curtains for the sloping window, making it very bright. But it wasn't a problem for us.

We spent six wonderful days at Dirk's in Sebnitz, the apartment is top-renovated, clean and very well equipped. Cozy living room and modern kitchen with high-quality appliances that all work perfectly ☺️ We felt very comfortable, only because of the location you could hear one or the other car passing by, but we knew that before booking. Shopping 5 minutes' walk away, parking and a convenient fast charging station for electric cars right outside the door, just great! Thank you for the great time!
