We absolutely loved our stay here - wonderful (and well-equipped) house, with great hosts, and views to die for. And the whales and dolphins put on an amazing show for us from dawn to dusk!

We had an amazing stay at Jackie's place, and spotted dolphins every day from the stoep. This is one of the best holiday places I've been, and my family (and our dogs) loved it.

Thank you Sharon and Ronny for treating us so well and facilitating our time together as a wider family. Visiting my sick sister, the location was great for us and is quiet and secure. Your home is a real home from home. The rooms are big and we loved the living area. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck, watching birds and monkeys in the park across the road, using your sparkling pool,and having a braai. Happy was on hand to help, and made us feel welcome and looked after. Thanks for a memorable 2 weeks! Fred, Merran, Rita and Toni Toerien.

What a wonderful stay we had over a long weekend. The house feels like a home, is big enough to accommodate numerous families, but feels really premium. You feel away from the buzz of the north coast, meandering down to the beach, ocean views from the bedrooms, firepit evenings with the ocean's roar only dwarfed by the magnificent night sky. A holiday to remember!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience staying here. Nikki and Tom went above and beyond as air b&b hosts and truly made my experience amazing. When I landed in Durban, they picked me up from the airport and after learning that my luggage was stuck in Joburg, they took me to the store so that I could get some toiletries and food for the day. They were so patient and warm in every interaction that I had with them. When we lost water, they brought me a 5 liter jug and were extremely communicative any time we lost water or electricity. I was in Durban for two months and struggled to find people to travel with and they literally adopted me most weekends to hang out with them at their beach club. Regarding the air bnb itself, it was the perfect size for me. It is in the safest neighborhood with great restaurants and a bakery within walking distance! There's fiber internet and a washing machine. Loved this little cottage, love Nikki and Tom, and love Durban!!

A lovely garden cottage, only 5min drive from the beach. Very peaceful and extremely clean! Loved my stay and would highly recommend it for solo travellers and couples. Thank you Oscar.

This place deserves more then 5 stars. I booked Peter's place for a weekend away whilst visiting my family in SA. The house is fantastic, amazing view, great pool and braai area and great rooms. So perfect for a weekend away. Nicolene was amazing in communicating and super helpful. We had an amazing weekends with family, dogs and toddler. Thank you so much

This unit was very comfortable, clean and well set out. Having a dishwasher , washing machine and tumble dryer was so convenient , in addition to the beautiful kitchen with all the necessary appliances. You can’t ask for better sea views - enjoying a cup of coffee or a meal on the balcony with the sound of the waves is food for the soul. Private access to the beach without having to use a car every time was an absolute plus! Gillian was amazing from the time we booked with clear communication on all aspects , responding quickly to any questions and was extremely helpful but not overbearing at the same time. We had a fantastic family break in this very clean, comfortable and well kitted unit which has been well thought out. The complex is well looked after and access to a swimming pool after a hot day on the beach was awesome too. Highly recommmended.

Exceptional Experience I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning location, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The premises were immaculately clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. But what truly stood out was the sense of safety and security that pervaded the entire property. I felt completely at ease during my stay, which was a huge plus. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful experience. And as for me, I wouldn't hesitate to rebook, it's definitely a place I'd return to without a doubt.

What a treat once again! At 4 Umzumbe Beach Mangrove is absolutely the girl it think it is! Lucinda is an amazing host with exceptional hosting skills, hats off to you and your team for doing what you do best. Checking out is always the hardest because of the level of comfort Lucinda's place offers. Definitely coming backfor a longer stay.

Margie was such a pleasant host who was always willing to go above and beyond for us and her cottage was fantastic. It was very clean with all the amenities you could ask for including a-little extra which made our stay easy and worry free. I will definitely be back again. I Highly suggest staying with Margie.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay, The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The amenities were great, especially the comfy bed and a fully stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A lovely, clean and quiet space amidst an avenue of many beautiful trees. Easy to find, Louis was a friendly and responsive host. Easy to check in and check out. Clear communication. I didn’t get to explore the area as it was a last minute booking for the night and was a great little spot to rest for the night. Secure parking for the vehicle. We had a wonderful stay at Ishara's place. It was such a lovely relaxing place. The place is way better than what u see in the pictures. It was so neat and clean and spacious.The most amazing thing about the place was the breathtaking views. The sea, the tidal pool, the dolphins...U can just sit on the deck, have your breakfast/lunch and enjoy the views. It was also so good to have your own braai area and own pool, we made good use of it. The unit has the best appliances and everything that u would need. It was also great having DSTV for the rainy days. Ishara was great in terms of communication, when we needed something she was very responsive, accommodating and welcoming, being flexible with the checkin arrangements for us when we arrived later than planned. Also the helper was Olive was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place, you would definitely enjoy every bit of it

Absolutely stunning place to be! The description of the place is an understatement of the beauty, comfort, cleanliness and amenities on offer at an affordable price. Ismaeel communicated proactively and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely recommend this place and would love to return.

Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we were sorted. The unit we rented was neat and clean. The view on its own was worth the money.

John was a great host. His place was clean and peaceful. The pictures don’t do this places justice, the views here are amazing. When you have breakfast you can see the whole coastline. Check in was amazing, Reita the caretaker kept in contact, we had to check in late because of a big accident on the N3 and she waited up for us which was truly amazing. The kids enjoyed the amenities and shops are really close by. If you looking for a family getaway this is definitely the place to come.

My sister and myself had a wonderful time, the view was spectacular every day, you could hear the ocean the whole time. Apartment was beautiful and our hosts friendly, available when needed and helpfull.

Maleshoane & Nhlanhla were absolutely warm, you really feel at ease the moment you meet them. Place is spacious compared to other places we've been. The place worked great for what we were there for, comrades race weekend, it was easy getting to the highway to get to the beach and ICC. Maleshoane was extra sweet providing enough coffee, milk, sugar and extras. We would not mind going back to enjoy the pool we did not get to enjoy because of the weather 😊. Hot water was on demand, we have no complaints. Great hosts!!
