House holiday rentals in Schuylkill County

This place was great and very accommodating for my group! We stayed here to be close to Knoebels for the weekend while also being far enough away from the Halloween hustle and bustle. The host was awesome at communicating and even let us check out late since no one followed our stay. The kitchen and living room were beautiful and spacious, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve all slept in! I would love to stay here again if I’m ever in the area and would recommend to anyone.

We had a tournament for my son. It was close by. The house had three nice rooms….we felt at home. The kitchen was easy to cook in and we enjoyed the beautiful countryside and a charming home! I did feel like there were a lot of “rules” and when one is traveling for the entire summer I am not a fan of hosts going thru every little rule and past issues. It was a shock to get such a list of rules when lately we have stayed in homes that have given us the gift of doing very little to check out. The rules could have been said a lot nicer. I do not break rules but I felt there were way to many do nots that I did not know about when I first booked. It would be nice to have larger towels as they were too small and also have more than one trash bag for the trash in the sink when we arrived and also laundry items for clothes. There were only 4 individual wash packets and we had to buy our own trash bags and bounty and toilet paper and tissues and that ALL adds up.

Great girls weekend getaway. Weather was picture perfect and we spent all of one day by the pool. Pool heater didn't seem to be working, but it did not bother us so we didn't bother to bring it up to Dulcinea. Some of the beds were pretty hard, and we didn't find any basic cooking spices like salt and pepper. Overall, great place to stay if you want peaceful stay and plenty of space both indoor and out.

This was a nice, quiet place up from the local downtown amenities. Backyard has hiking trails with a peaceful porch to relax on. We rented this location to be close to Famous Reading Outdoor riding trails. Only a few miles away from the house. Spoke directly to Jaime for some updates and she was friendly and instantly available for any messaging. She even accommodated an early check-in (if available). If you are in the Pottsville area this is worth the stay, especially if you are looking for a larger space with privacy. Check out Vintage 61 antique store and local Good Will for some fabulous finds!

Melissa is a great and very responsive host. She also provides easy and simple check in and check out process. The house is spacious both the indoor and outdoor spaces. We love the location, no neighbors - we embrace the quiet and stillness especially since we live in the middle of the city! This property is in a resort so try not to be intimidated by the potential extra paperwork - it’s all for the right reasons. Great amenities in the community, and Melissa’s house is very close to one of the pools that feels very private. The house has all the fixin’s you need to be able to cook or bbq. Great layout of the home, and very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay,

We stayed at Zhargals’s place as it was close to Knobels. The house was nice and spacious. Would recommend if you want to go to Knobels as it’s only a 30 minute drive.

We had a wonderful time at Allen’s beautiful country retreat.

I loved this bnb. Donald was very responsive and had many recommendations on places to stop by. Loved the vibe of the home. I really enjoyed the decor. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to! Definitely will be returning!!

My wife, dog , and I had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless and exactly as described: clean, cozy, and very comfortable. It was easy to find, which made arrival stress-free. One of the best parts of the trip was being able to truly unplug for a few days and enjoy some peace and quiet away from the usual hustle. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making everything from check-in to check-out. I’d recommend this Airbnb to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

We had a very nice stay at this Airbnb. The place was very large, yet very accessible. Everything was nice and clean. The house is located in a semi-busy town, so light sleepers should bring ear plugs for a few loud trucks and hourly church bells. This was walking distance to a few restaurants, with more options a short drive away. The host was very pleasant and accommodating. We would recommended renting this Airbnb.

Our stay was fantastic! Neal & Carrie were very accommodating & communication was great. They greeted us with a cute personalized sign & fresh homemade bread. The house was absolutely amazing & the views were stunning! There was so much to keep the kids busy & we spent most of our time out in the yard & enjoying all our meals on the patio. The house was very clean & stocked with everything you can think of & beyond. We plan on making this our yearly stop for states!

Fantastic stay just 11 minutes from Knoebels! The cabin is tucked away in a quiet, nature-filled area—perfect for stargazing and escaping light pollution. We stayed 3 days, 2 nights with friends and had a relaxing time. The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions before arrival. Check-in was easy, and the home was spotless and exactly as described. Beds were comfy, temperature was perfect, and we loved the warming vent in the bathroom. Wi-Fi worked well, though there’s no cell service (expected for the area). The kitchen was fully stocked, and the firepit was a great bonus. Sofa and TV setup were cozy for nights in. Very quiet and safe; neighbors are far apart. You’ll need a car, but that adds to the peaceful charm. No issues at all—highly recommend this place for a calm retreat or a Knoebels trip!

Stephany was super responsive and gave clear instructions. There were a lot of beds, which is great for a group. The kitchen, dining room, and living room is very open, which was nice with my friends.

The stay at Robert house was absolutely phenomenal! Due to a recent shoulder surgery he had a wonderful recliner I spent the night in. My girlfriend and I had a great night spent there as we had a wedding close by. Wonderful scenery and spotless clean rooms! Robert also was very communicative had also allowed us to check in earlier as well! Certainly would stay again!

We had fun staying at Kristina's house. It was easy to access from I-81 and central to everything we wanted to do. It was clean with plenty of room for us. Our pups enjoyed the fenced back yard and gated front porch. We loved seeing deer, geese, and rabbits. Except for an occasional train, it was peaceful. The Lakeside Ballroom didn't have any events, so it was private during our stay. The Dollar General was close and convenient for anything extra we needed. It was close to Hometown (especially Hometown Farmers Market - Wednesdays only), Tamaqua (especially Gimbel's and Hope & Coffee), and Jim Thorpe (especially Molly Maguire's Irish Pub). Kristina was very friendly and helpful. It rained for most of our stay, so we hope to return to Kristina's house and explore more!

I love this spot! One of my top favorite places to stay while away on business.

Had a nice stay

This was the coziest home we have stayed in. The scenery was absolutely beautiful; we loved going down to the river in the morning. Just a short drive from Knoebels and Bloomsburg. Wonderful stay!

Tara and Tim were the most responsive hosts we have ever had. They worked hard to make sure our stay was superb and that all of our needs were met.
