I had an incredible stay at this beautiful house near the lake! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled right in the middle of nature, providing a sense of peace and tranquility that far exceeded my expectations. The photos on Airbnb don't do justice to how calm and beautiful this place truly is. The host (spencer) was exceptionally helpful and responsive, ensuring that everything was in perfect order for our stay. We faced no issues at all, and every little detail was taken care of, making our experience completely stress-free. If you're looking for a serene getaway, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

This house is in the perfect location to get into town as well as driving to the local hiking trail and tours! The house has a slight smoke smell if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, but it was certainly tolerable. Host was very helpful with all questions that I had and we had a great stay!

The only real negative is the mildewy smell. It’s an older cabin and seems to have had some leaks here and there, giving it an overall musty smell. It’s pretty strong at first but you get used to it. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate for us to use the backyard or fire pit, but that obviously isn’t the host’s fault. We would stay here again if in the area.

Kendra is the best airbnb host we’ve had, very helpful with instructions and quick to answer any questions we had, we loved the space and the cabin feeling it had, the views were great! it’s a very good location for snowmobiling, I also really liked how the cabin was decorated, thank you for hosting us!

Plenty of space in the house and close to the trails.

Great place! We stayed for a snowmobile trip and the cabin is easy to reach the trails from. Super clean cabin and lots of parking for trucks & trailers. We will be back.

I had cancelations in people and did not need to use cliffs house. cliff responded pretty quickly and seems good to deal with. if I was to need a house in the area again I'd definitely look him up again.

Hide Away UP North was so relaxing. Furniture was super comfortable. The bed was soft, but not too soft, and we both got great sleep. There are a great variety of sites to go check out. The lighthouse just south of the house was awesome. Also went to Oswald's Bear Ranch then drove up to see/touch Lake Superior. Great views of Lake Michigan all around by the house. We absolutely loved it. Ben was a fabulous host and very attentive!

Beautiful, serene campgrounds by the river. Exceptional clean bathhouse and room and very comfortable beds. The pull-out couch with the rubber topper was exceptionally comfortable. Thanks for making our overnight so memorable

Staying at this Airbnb was a truly special and memorable experience. Even though it was an RV, it had all the amenities of a regular home, making it feel incredibly cozy and comfortable. Todd and Jackie were among the best hosts we've ever had—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely caring. Since the RV didn’t have a keypad lock, they personally waited for us to arrive for check-in. I accidentally mixed up the time zones and arrived much later than expected, but Jackie patiently waited until 1 a.m. to welcome us. One evening, we mentioned needing wood for a campfire, and when we returned from our day out, Todd had already lit one for us. We ended up sitting around the fire under a sky full of stars—it was such a magical moment that it truly became a core memory for us. When our furnace stopped working during the night due to an empty propane tank, Todd came by first thing in the morning to check on us and make sure everything was okay. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Patrick's airbnb was a cozy and peaceful stay, really close to town with lots to see and do. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, and we loved that we could bring our dog. Would highly recommend!

The camper makes for a lovely place to stay and enjoy your time in nature, with a nice campfire space and a large open area surrounded by forest which makes for a great stargazing environment when the sky is clear. Todd and Jackie were always very responsive to any questions/concerns, and made us feel right at home. The surrounding area is lovely too, with Munising only a short 5-10 minute drive away, and Marquette about a 45 minute drive away. Highly recommended, and we will surely be coming back here again in the future! :)

We loved our Michigan cabin! It felt like a little home home away from home, with everything we needed- even the wood for the fire pit. Our hosts were very kind & helpful; they even gave us a lot of ideas of fun things to do while we were there. We had a fun & relaxing trip in the UP with their help 😃

My daughter and I wanted a remote retreat to celebrate her 25th birthday weekend, and this place did the trick. The hosts were super responsive and nice, the cabin was clean, cute and cozy!

We were passing through the area and stayed at the Native Nook cabin. We had a wonderful visit and were very impressed by the cabin and the campground. The cabin and the campground (with bathhouse) were extremely well-maintained. The cabin was very comfortable, and Melissa had set up the coach as a second bed before we got there, which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay again!

We had a girl's trip with my friends and Jared's place was a perfect accommodation for us. Starting from the location, the house, furniture and the kitchen. The vibe was just right! We felt right at home. This beautiful place is close to Pictured Rocks and other attractions Michigan has to offer.

The Sandbox’s shoreline was stunning and the comforts of the beach house itself were perfection! The neighboring towns offered great spots for local shopping and dining, and SOOO many beautiful nature-based things to do await you! If you are at all put off by natural well water with a high iron content, buy some gallons of water to bring with you for drinking water/pets - other than that, absolute perfection (and important to note, totally outside of the control of the owners/management)!

When we arrived we were so pleased with the space! It was beautiful and the quality of the home was apparent. The views were spectacular. The area was quite private and secluded; just what we were looking for. The space was perfectly sized and appointed for our group. We were disappointed by the following things, which we shared with the owner bc we couldn’t tell if it was a disrespectful guest, or things that had been overlooked by a cleaner. We discovered a broken plate placed carefully under the other dishes; coffee grinds and water in the coffee maker; and a multitude of dirty dishes, including pans, bowls, glasses, silverware, and plates. Again, this is not necessarily the owners fault, but for the cost, we wanted to be sure they knew how we found things bc we didn’t expect to have to wash all of our dishes before using them! We were careful to follow all checkout rules and leave the space neat and tidy. Can’t beat the beautiful sunsets and views.

We had a great stay, our second in two years. We love the feeling of being out in nature and the sense of privacy. This year our “neighbors” were two bald eagles we saw on the beach every morning while watching the sun rise over Lake Michigan. Some practical things to consider: the nearest grocery store is Jack’s in Manistique. Best to stop there before you arrive, it’s more than a short drive. And, take them seriously when they tell you to arrive during daylight! I wouldn’t want my first drive down the single-track access lane to be in the dark! If I were planning to stay there in the winter, I would check with the management company first to make sure my vehicle was up to it. When we arrived we found the EV charger not working, but we contacted the management company and they worked hard to make it right in less than 24 hours, even though it was a weekend.
