The southern Thuringian Forest, one of the most beautiful low mountain landscapes in Europe, is not called "The Green Heart of Germany" for nothing. Our modern and very quiet apartment in the OT of the residence town of Schleusingen with its famous Bertholdsburg beyond the borders in the middle of the southern Thuringian Forest, not far from the Rennsteig. The A73 Anschluss Schleusingen motorway is 2 km away. Oberhof and Coburg can be reached in about 30 minutes.

The house is modern and the garden offers plenty of space for free development. Perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof in the winter months, and great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more in the rest of the year. The sauna and hot tub need preparation. If you want to use it, please let us know after booking. We also have a pool that you are welcome to use in the summer by arrangement.

The climatic health resort of Masserberg, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hiking, cycling and cross-country trails are right outside the front door.
