Great place to stay - still unobstructed view. Beds creak with every movement but otherwise great.

We spent a quiet weekend at the Kiebitz and really liked the place.

Everything was amazing and exactly as described. Beautiful place, gorgeous views, private access to the water and absolutely tranquil. A bit hard to find. Amazing place, particular during summer time -warm weather. Loved every minute.

If you're looking for peace and seclusion, this is the place to be. Super cozy sauna and fireplace. The direct view and access to the lake make it perfect. In addition, the house is child-friendly. The noises from the pebble day building on the other side of the lake are only to be perceived quietly. There is room for 4 adults, there would also be more sleeping places. However, the house is already very audible, so you should think about it well with more people. Within walking distance is a consumption in the village (20min away) . The most necessary food and breakfast rolls are available here. We felt very comfortable in the house.

The home is exactly as described. Check-in is easy and flexible. The area is calm and relaxed. I was now here in mid-October and can very well imagine coming back in the summer.

We were a group of 6 people and felt very comfortable. The house is excellently equipped and offers everything you want from a holiday home. The surroundings and the lake offer excellent opportunities to explore nature and take extensive walks. Edeka is within walking distance. I can fully recommend the cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the in-house sauna. A real highlight was also the small stream directly on the property, in which you could swim wonderfully. Thomas and Beate are very warm and attentive hosts who made our stay even more special with their friendly manner. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time in Thomas' apartment. The apartment is very nice, bright and has a huge garden that we could share. The lake is just a stone's throw away and we had a lot of fun (including with the SUPs that we were able to borrow from Thomas). Thomas was always responsive to us and welcomed us very lovingly. A big recommendation:)

It was wonderful, we'd love to come back!!! The accommodation is still completely new, so to speak, everything is sparkling clean and fully furnished with everything you need, supermarket and other shops are within walking distance. The lake is great on the side of the house and with a private boat to relax. We enjoyed the peace and the beautiful garden very much. The hosts were immediately available if you had any questions and really very sweet. Thank you very much for everything

A little paradise by the water! Our stay was simply fantastic. Sybille is a wonderful host – warm, helpful and always quickly accessible. From the beginning, we felt like we were on vacation for 3 weeks ;) When we arrived, we could hardly believe our eyes: the house is really right on the water! Looking out over the lake in the morning from bed and starting the day with this tranquility - that was pure luxury. The location is hard to beat: absolutely idyllic and yet close to everything you need. A bike path runs right outside the door, perfect for racing.
There are restaurants right on the lake within walking distance - and a fish sandwich stand that we already miss. Top equipped house directly on the lake with large bathtub, super kitchen & garden. Ideal for nature lovers & families. Between Markkleeberg & Cospudener See, Leipzig can be reached quickly by train. Clean, quiet & inexpensive – an absolute insider tip! We will definitely be back! Perfect place to relax, unwind and look into the starry sky. The hosts were very open-hearted and were always ready for any questions and requests. The bungalow was equipped with everything necessary and sufficiently large for 4 people. Even a large fire bowl with plenty of wood were available to us. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Jenny made it possible for us to book 2 nights at very short notice (about 2 hours before check-in!) when we were in need due to an overbooking! 🙏 The house was beautiful, spacious and clean, and offered the possibility for many activities (including a large TV in a cozy living room, dartboard, table football). We had a great stay thank you so much!

Very nice landlords who react quickly if something is wrong. House is super equipped and offered us enough space (6 adults, 3 children and 2 babies). The location is great, all excursion destinations can be reached within half an hour. All the usual grocery stores are in the neighboring village. The location is quiet, directly on a walking path in the countryside. We'd love to come back 😊

Very worthwhile accommodation, especially for families with children who are looking for peace and coziness. Good bike path connection (Elster bike path), otherwise car required for shopping.

We really felt comfortable for the four days and will definitely come back! A suggestion for improvement on our part would be a blackout option for the front windows, which face the lake. The sun shines quite strongly in the morning, which is rather impractical for late risers 😅

Two paddle tours were planned for this weekend on the Göltzsch near Greiz and on the Zwickauer Mulde between Blauenthal and Aue. Staying at Susann's place allowed us to do this. Three couples expected us to have 3 bedrooms and appropriate sanitary facilities. You have the feeling that the family is currently on vacation and has left us with joy their lovingly designed house. Even the fireplace was prepared and then brought the special coziness into the living room. The breakfast together at the large table was thanks to a very good kitchen equipment, the hoped for start to the beautiful paddle day. It was nice to see you guys. Accommodation is really nice, spacious, comfortable and practical. Parking at the property, big garden, seating and grill at the patio, very nice. Lockable storage room for the bikes as well. Kitchen very well equipped, we did not miss anything. Close walking distance to the restaurant and big public playground next to that. Great strategic location for the bike trips around the lakes. Highly recommend it.

The place was great. It was very clean and the location, right on the lake was top notch. For what is offered an absolute price-performance recommendation.

We were in Großkayna with about 25 people for a reunion and birthday weekend. The guesthouse and the associated property offered us just what we needed with a well-equipped, large kitchen, spacious, clean shared rooms, a relaxed common room and large garden. Everything is very simple but cozily furnished and I felt very welcome and supported in planning the stay. We will be happy to come back and I highly recommend the house for an affordable and relaxed group stay!

We had a totally nice stay at the River Lake Inn and would love to come back! You can get to the surrounding lakes super fast from the house and enjoy nature. Communication with Richard was super friendly, fast and easy. Therefore, we were able to arrive and depart flexibly and Richard shared a lot of information with us in advance about what we can do in the area. The house is very lovingly designed and clean, just like in the photos! In addition, there was a very warm welcome message, so we felt comfortable right away :)
