Holiday rentals with breakfast in Savanne District

Shemen and her husband Lindsay have welcomed me into their beautiful home wholeheartedly and went out of their way to make my stay at their place special. They are really warm and kind people. We shared great conversations, I learnt about the country from them and they even generously offered me dinner. Merci beaucoup!

Very good stay with my wife. Very good welcome from Keivan, very considerate, pleasant and good advice. It is just recommended to have a car as it is not completely central. The place was as described, clean and really nice. We highly recommend it.

A rare find indeed. I had a beautiful stay. Felt right at home with Vandana and her mom. Very clean, close to the airport, easy to find, close to the local market and very clean. My room was beautiful. It was like I found a family far from home. Found a sister like friend in Vandana and her mom is such a beautiful soul, so kind and generous. She is the Boss lady. Vandana helped with the airport pickup and drop and in soooo many other ways that I can't even write all here. Offered me the local food at home, gave so many suggestions and was there whenever I needed. Thank you so much for this beautiful experience. A house with beautiful positive energy and lots of fun stories.

I enjoyed my stay very much. Vandana and her family were extremely kind and accommodating, communicated perfectly and were very flexible with the check in and airport transport. The house is also very nice in a quiet neighbourhood with cozy rooms. If I come back to Mauritius in the future, I'll definitely stay here again.

Richie is very available and attentive! Her mom is lovely and made us a little dish for the evening, a nice surprise. The room is spacious, clean and the netflix tv ^^

Vandana is a truly a superhost as she is committed and very helpful. The value for money here is very high. Location is a bit off, but you can safely walk into Mahébourg centre for a good meal (1 km) and take the bus to blue bay for snorkeling (5km). Recommended.

This family was so amazing! First the place was spotless and I really mean spotless. Had everything you need. I even borrowed an umbrella which was so nice. It was cosy and nice, had AC which is really rare for Mauritius. But what really stood out for me was Vandana and her family. I feel like they accepted me as one of them, we shared many interesting conversations, they invited me to eat lunch with them, provided all information I needed. Vandana is super responsive and ready to help. And her mom is such a strong woman and that is kind of energy that you should be surrounded with. I really recommend staying with them. And bonus is beautiful Blue Bay is so close.

The house is kept perfectly clean. Very quiet location with no street noises. I would like to say a special thanks for her cooking. I was on a "special diet" with a limited list of foods, but she managed to make delicious dinners. Chenaz is a great host. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I felt very comfortable.

Sabrina is a very nice and helpful host, we enjoyed our stay with her! We were allowed to check in early and stay longer. When checking in, we received many recommendations for various activities. La Gaulette is a nice little place, a supermarket and some restaurants are within walking distance. Le Morne beach is only 7 minutes away by car. Breakfast was very tasty, there was fresh fruit, and fried eggs were freshly prepared. My friend only missed cheese or vegetables because he prefers hearty breakfast :) Thank you, Sabrina (and the team), for this very pleasant stay!

Friendly, professional reception, everything important was sufficiently explained in the first quarter of an hour. We felt very comfortable from the first minute and I will remember our conversations (yes, Jean Pierre, I mean you in particular!😉) a little longer! It was really fun and we will recommend you with a clear conscience!

Sabrina & Jean-Pierre are warm-hearted, communicative, lovely hosts with a lot of passion for their 8 bed guesthouse (very clean!) with amazing views and sundowners over the ocean. They share sightseeing tips, recommendations and can arrange tours. We were even invited to a birthday party, which was a lot of fun to get in contact with local people. The breakfast was local food, containing of regional fruits. In the evening dinner was available if enough people (4+) interested. The quality was amazing with homemade food and special rum as a finish. You can get in touch with other guests, which was great. The house is situated in La Gaulette, a surfer/kite surfing hotspot. In a 5-10 Minutes driving distance is Le Morne, one of the sightseeing/„postcard like“ highlights, which we highly recommend. Great restaurants are in walking distance. Will come back when in Mauritius!

Sylviane is a host of great kindness, flexible and very accommodating. We stayed one night at his place Sylviane has adapted to our time constraints. It is full of good advice about the places as well as the restaurants that are nearby. We enjoyed interacting with her. The accommodation is located near the waterfront (which offers a beautiful sunrise), the market is also next door. The rooms are spacious, the shared kitchen is well equipped and breakfast is included in the rental. A very good place in Mahebourg.

The area is great for anyone interested in activities. sea activities are less than 10 minutes away and nature and hiking are 20-40 minutes by car. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable and the view is very nice from the 2nd floor rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly. The iron can be borrowed from the cleaning staff upon request. highly recommended in general.

We had a great stay at jean Pierre‘s home. Happy days guesthouse is the perfect name for it! Everything was prepared on our arrival. It was clean, cosy and felt like a Home far away from Home! Jean pierre and his wife Sabrina organized even a dolphins trip for us, highly recommended, it was the highlight of our journey! Not to forget the delicious food Gregory cooked for us twice. And the excellent breakfast! You will need a car, but everything is a five minutes drive away. Thank u so much! We highly recommend this place 😊

Great value for money! Very responsive and professional host, accommodation close to the airport, nice little pool and breakfast included very decent. Only small downside, the floor is the room to be cleaner, the rest was fine.

We had a very pleasant stay at Isabelle. The place was clean, the location is great especially if you have a late or early flight-it’s only 10 min drive from the airport. Breakfast is delicious, Isabelle and her team is very friendly and helpful! We highly recommend this place to the Airbnb community. For sure you won’t be disappointed!

Connie and Peary are very lovely, accommodating hosts. They make you feel immediately welcome, and your warm nature leaves nothing to be desired. You can hardly sleep closer to the sea than here. The rooms were super clean. Perfect for the first nights after the long trip. Breathtaking views of the sea. Breakfast is small but has everything you need and is prepared with a lot of love. We would love to come back to them any time.
