Holiday rentals with breakfast in Sauk County

Everything about the Hillside B&B was fabulous, especially Monica. There were eight adults and two children, and we all found our space and it never felt crowded. The setting is so beautiful. Nestled in a hillside, a beautiful pines, privacy on all sides and a spectacular view. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft and lovely. It was wonderful to be able to have breakfast together served by this delightful host. Everything was perfect.

Rea’s place was cozy, comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend it!

Such a beautiful stay! The wow factor when you pull up is just the start! We had the most amazing time and made so many wonderful memories staying at this beautiful historic home. From seeing fireflies in n the evening to morning coffee on the beautiful screen porch, we had the most wonderful family adventure. The third floor was setup perfectly for our twin girls in one room and our son in the other! Town of spring green close by was a family favorite and we had some amazing dinners/lunches there. 100% recommend you try this stay. Make sure to have good bug spray and you are set! Thanks so much to Sam and Bruce for sharing this wonderful place with us all!

We stayed one night and enjoyed it fully. The home is very warm and cozy, the grounds surrounding it are lovely. Would highly recommend!

Monica was a lovely host and we had a great time staying there! She proactively communicated when something came up and she wouldn’t be around to greet us, and it was super easy to follow her instructions and she had everything we would need out and waiting for us. When we did have questions, she was easy to get in touch with and very responsive and friendly, and even recommended some things for us to do around town. The rooms were just as described and very comfortable, and breakfast was filling and delicious. 10/10 would book again!

spent 2 nights here, and it is a truly unique stay. Daniel and Irina are great hosts and work extremely hard at their business ( honestly, all I saw them doing was working!) The breakfasts are amazing if maybe even a bit of overkill. If you like a lot to eat when you wake up--- you're sure to be satisfied. I'm a night owl, so my only complaint would be 8 30 breakfast. However I sucked it up and made it downstairs each morning ( my wife is an early riser, so no problem for her). We would happily stay here again!

Monica was a WONDERFUL host. Met us right as we pulled in with her super gentle dogs. We also saw a deer right as we got out of the car. The house and views were beautiful. The house had a lot of character and was sparkling clean! Thank you!

Julie and Stuart were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and were even able to accommodate gluten free dietary needs. Beautiful home with so much history. Walkable to downtown and super close to many other options. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay here! We only stayed one night after some hiking at devils lake (10 min drive only), but it was a perfect get away. Julie was super nice and made us feel at home. She gave us recommendations and we even ran into her and her husband at a restaurant down the street. She made us a great breakfast in the morning, even accommodating to a gluten-free diet! The place itself was super cute and had a lot of life and history to it. They’ve done a great job of keeping the place’s old school vibe with modern amenities. We met one of the other couples staying there, who were very nice as well, but we also had our privacy. I highly recommend and will probably be back for a longer hiking trip. Thank you!
