Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Walkers Cottage, Home away from Home

This Newly renovated cottage is situated in the beautiful Mountains over looking the Walensee, with spectacular views of the Churfirsten. Transport is recommended , but its just a 10min walk down Oberterzen, where you find the cable car to go up to Flumserberg ski resort. (Ski in or out, only when there is enough snow) Or a 5 min drive down to Unterterzen where there is great swimming in Summer, other Restaurants, Supermarket, Bank, Post office, Train station, etc. We have a no pet policy

Swiss Mountain Chalet-Apartment(1 bedroom+sofabed)

Our cosy Swiss chalet is situated in Flumserberg Bergheim - a quiet residential area, the closest ski lift is 5min by car or accessible by public transport. The apartment is accessible down a flight of stairs with a separate entrance and private garden/patio. The 1 bedroom apartment with a sofabed in the lounge is suitable for 2 adults & 2 young children or 3 adults. There are spectacular views of the Alps (Churfirsten) from all windows. Newly renovated & fully equipped.

Modern guest suite with seating, hot tub, sauna

New, modern guest apartment in the attached part of the house. The studio apartment has three rooms connected by 4 or 7 steps. The middle room with living/dining room and kitchen is very bright with a view of Sargans Castle. The upper seating area offers great panoramic views of the castle and Gonzen. The guest apartment is ideal for 2-4 people. Large double bed, bunk bed in the upper room, sofa bed or folding bed. On request, use of hot tub, sauna and washing machine.

A cozy tiny house on 36 m² in the mountains. The well thought-out layout offers a lot of comfort in a small space. Far from ordinary. The entire living, dining and sleeping area as well as the shower and separate toilet are built in modern light-flooded wooden construction. The outdoor area is equipped with a cozy seating area and outdoor oven. In the middle of a spacious meadow landscape surrounded by forest with views of the mountains. Unwind and relax.

Quietly located farm with mountain and lake views

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. The apartment in Casa Gafadura offers plenty of living space, a large terrace, mountain view and garden. It is the ideal starting point for many activities. The middle station of the Flumserbergbahn cable car is only 5 minutes away by car. Winter sports, hiking, biking, water sports are nearby. Vacation in Heidiland Our bright 3-room apartment is in a prime location in Walenstadt. Walenstadt is the ideal base for exploring the region with its many excursion destinations. The apartment further impresses with its sunny location and the large green area available (for exclusive use). Parking is available. Lake Walen is within a 10-minute walk, and the train station is within a 15-minute walk.

Come and enjoy the fresh Swiss mountain air. Our well equipped, self contained apartment is a great place to spend some time away in either Summer or Winter. Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking. We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.
