This is the perfect place for nature lovers and to find optimal peace and wildlife spotting! Plantation Sưo covers over 5 hectares and is surrounded by water channels. The area consists of a tropical orchard with many types of fruit trees and various ponds where you can fish. In the backyard begins a dense jungle.In the morning various species of monkeys regularly visit the fruit trees and there are many species of birds to spot.

Staying on the farm

On a quiet road on the Saramaccari River, near the village of Uitzicht, we, Gera and Annette live. Together we enjoy the peace and quiet, living outside the city, life on and along the river. For us, this is the ideal place to live and work with all our animals: horses, cows, dogs, chickens, goats and ducks. We welcome you to join us for a few days.

We are within walking distance of the historic town of Groningen, which is also the district capital of Saramacca. Here my forefathers came as Dutch farmers in 1845. Our guesthouse is and open design with amenities on one side of the building and rooms on the other side to keep noise to a minimum.
