Hannes was a great host! Very helpful and accommodating. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. Stunning property with gorgeous gardens and views of the nature reserve. Limited signal coverage and intermittent wifi signal - a stay for those looking to digitally disconnect. Overall a wonderful place.

It is an amazing space - we had the best time around the boma, our daughter loved pottering about the garden (and the swings) and the beach is just around the corner. An awesome find in a great area with plenty to do. Kirsten was very accommodating to our requests and made our stay a great one.

Absolutely lovely and tranquil accommodation alongside a wonderful host, Rosie is a wonderful person and we would love to return. I highly recommend booking your stay with Rosie!

Always a gorgeous place to stay

Lovely place. Awesome walking areas, especially with the dogs. Well equipped unit. Wifi was a bit of a no show at times. Cleaning team can be a bit more fastidious. However, we enjoyed our stay, and I will stay there again when in the area.

This a a fabulous find. The view is sensational and although someone else mentioned the road being close it’s behind the property and car parking area and not noticeable. The morning sunrise over the forest valley is very special. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely for before and after the Robberg Hike especially the pool!

A peaceful and beautiful stay. Perfectly located just outside of Plett. The house is lovely and well appointed, enjoy watching the bird life from the stoep. Paul and Bettina very helpful, would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge and wished we’d booked for longer! Especially loved lounging on the net taking in the surroundings! Also, enjoyed a walk down to the dams and took the little pull along boat out for a fish before heading back to the chalet for a lovely massage out on the deck. We then spent the rest of the evening in the hot tub and braaiing in our own little private area! Fab stay topped off with a lovely walk on maitland beach in the morning - highly recommend and will defo be back! The chalet was really cosy and spotless with everything needed to enjoy our stay.

Beautiful and quiet guest lodge just outside Grahamstown. Peaceful with magnificent views and beautiful scenery. A must for anyone in the Grahamstown area.

We stayed at Sandi’s property for the month of February 2024. The house, which is situated in gated safe and secure parkland, is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The TV/satellite channels are comprehensive and the Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The patio area is large and a lovely space to sit, eat, barbeque, and relax in the company of the Bushbucks and other friendly wildlife. Fantastic highly recommendable places to breakfast, lunch and dine, are all within a 5 minute drive, as is the magnificent Brenton on Sea beach. The regular load sheddings posed no problems as an inverter is in place. On top of all that, Sandi was on hand to advise and support us if needed. Her local knowledge, professionalism and good nature was invaluable and was ‘the icing on the cake’ of our sta y, she is indeed a ‘Superhost’ and such a lovely person.

My family loved our stay with Penny and Warren! They are amazing people and made us feel like old friends. Very accommodating with our requests. The location is beautiful with direct access to the lake and private boats to make use of. Extremely private and quiet. We HIGHLY recommend this spot. We will be back as soon as possible. One of my most peaceful and enjoyable stays. The accommodation spacious with lots of natural light and air flow. It’s such a treat to read a book 📕 on the bench on the jetty, on the lawn or on the comfy couch. Our doggies were in heaven - they loved the spacious lawns, and feebly chasing after the naughty coots 🦆. Magical evenings at the braai nestled within shrubby nook and view of the lake. Well-appointed kitchen. Lovely easy-going hosts. We cannot wait to return!

Great location on the main beach with an ocean view from the balcony. Awesome host and friendly housekeeping staff. Spacious unit, neat and sparkly clean (serviced daily). Would love to return again and would definitely recommend the place.

The house was amazing! Very clean and there was a lot of stuff in the house. We all loved the beds! But the most important plus for us was the place/environment; it was next to the beach and the restaurant!! We loved it Perfect for big families or friend groups
