The best. That has to be the first thing I say. We have stayed at so many airbnbs and this place was just wonderful. First Sandra and Nuno went far above and beyond for hosting - they met us in person, watched our dog for us!!, brought veggies, had homemade bread ready - and were just truly the kindest people. It felt like we were visiting family not staying in an airbnb. The house is lovely - every detail is thought of and hand crafted, you can certainly feel the love for the place and the careful and beautiful renovation throughout. The backyard is a hidden gem - again, with every detail from a firepit to an outdoor shower, lounge chairs and fairy lights. We were a hop away from a main trailhead and easy access to many towns in the area. It was perfect, you even have an easy to access parking spot so you can easily navigate in and out. Highly recommend and huge thanks to our hosts! We appreciated the lovely opportunity to enjoy such nice people and a wonderful space.

This apartment is a real gem surrounded by nature. Surrounded by woods and streams, it offers an experience of unique peace and serenity. The place is comfortable and well cared for, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The elderly lady who manages the place is extraordinary. She is very friendly, helpful and always ready to give great advice. Your hospitality makes your stay even more special. I highly recommend this apartment to those looking for tranquility and nature. Can't wait to go back!

José Manuel was a flawless host. The accommodation is perfect for escaping and spending days immersed in nature. The path is mountainous and the vegetation is beautiful. You must go prepared to see cliffs and narrow roads. All the details are taken care of and has everything that could be needed. If you are going with children, please note that there are a lot of stairs. We communicated very well and everything flowed perfectly.

We had an amazing stay here. We found the peace and quiet we were looking for in a beautiful environment. Lucas, and his mother who speaks french, waited for us in town to escort us to the house. We felt very welcome before we even arrived. Even though we arrived late, we were given a big tour of the house, terrain and animals, which the kids loved. The house fits the description and did not disappoint, the outside is beautiful.

Over the years we had quiet a few holiday homes but this one is so special and was definitely one of the best we ever had! It starts with the private driveway to the house which makes you feel like queens and kings of ancient portugal. On the one hand the property is extremely quiet because there is nothing nearby except nature and a very small steeet, on the other hand you can walk in 20 minutes to Reriz, the village nearby that is very beautiful and has a wonderful little café and a very special riverbeach, where you can swim, hang out and have a beer. The house itselfe is really beautiful, very comfortable beds, and a kitchen with a astonishing panoramic view. Right next to the house is the wonderful saltwater pool with a terace that also offers a great panorama. And you can swim in the river on the property. PLUS Sherrin and Tony are the most friendly hosts you can imagine, especially friendly and understanding with our noisy kids - this makes you feel really at home as a family.

We had a great two-week family stay at this beautiful villa. The house is very spacious, pleasant and well-equipped. Its cleanliness is impeccable, the garden is large and well maintained, the children were even able to cycle there. Antonio was an amazing and very hospitable host. He ensured the cleanliness of the pool throughout our stay, was good at giving advice for activities and restaurants to visit. We will keep a great memory of it and can only recommend Antonio and his beautiful and large house. Obrigada por tudo Antonio!

One of the best place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Only wifi did not worked for us but rest of things are amazing.

The village of paradinha is a place that steals your mind. Swimming in the river, peaceful nights and great places to explore near by are the extras of this rental. The house was as described, particularly enjoyed the views from the small old windows. Thank you so much Olga!
